Seul sanctuaire de chiens-loups au Canada, nous sommes un organisme de sauvetage sans but lucratif voué à l'éducation et à la sensibilisation aux chiens-loups et aux loups sauvages. Notre mission est de fournir aux chiens de loup sauvés une vie significative et épanouie, tout en offrant une éducation expérientielle pour promouvoir le bien-être et la compréhension des chiens de loup dans notre monde domestique. En cultivant des liens authentiques entre nos chiens-loups et les gens, notre objectif est d'inspirer une appréciation des loups dans la nature et une reconnexion à notre monde naturel. Nous sommes situés juste à l'est des montagnes Rocheuses près de Cochrane, en Alberta, sur 160 acres avec une meute actuelle de plus de 60 chiens-loups résidents. En plus de nos incroyables chiens de loup, nous avons un centre d'accueil offrant des souvenirs et des ressources éducatives sur les chiens de loup et les loups sauvages. Tous les profits des entrées et des produits dérivés sont directement destinés à prendre soin de nos chiens-loups et à soutenir les sauvetages futurs. Veuillez noter que les enfants doivent être âgés de 6 ans ou plus pour visiter en raison de la nature sensible des chiens-loups.

Great experience, very knowledgeable staff. Lots of beautiful wolf dogs. Parking is easy and cute little gift shop.
Wolfdogs are awesome!!! Even with the cheapest admission we still got to see the wolfdogs up close. Be sure to align your visit time with the Wolfdog Wisdom sessions to howl with the wolves! Very educational, fun, and definitely worth the price. Not too crowded either
It was very cool seeing all of the wolf dogs. This place has wonderful enclosures for them and you can tell they are very well cared for. We did the tour and enjoyed learning their stories. We had a lot of fun feeding the goats, chickens, and guard dogs too.
Really good experience and worth the money. The sanctuary is well spread out and maintained. We opted to do the self guided tour due to the timing but it would have been great to hear the information provided in a guided tour. That said, the many information boards around the paths were very informative. It was lovely to see so many dogs being cared for in such a nice environment.
Our visit to was absolutely unforgettable. The sanctuary is beautiful, well maintained, and surrounded by stunning scenery that makes the entire experience feel peaceful and unique. We did one of the interactive tours where we were able to get up close and personal with the wolfdogs, and it was truly an amazing experience. The tour felt very personal, and the staff took the time to answer questions and share so much information about the animals, their behaviors, and the importance of conservation and education. You can really tell how much care and passion goes into looking after the wolfdogs. The experience was not only exciting but also incredibly informative. We learned so much during our visit, and it gave us a whole new appreciation for these beautiful animals. Seeing the wolfdogs up close was breathtaking, and the connection you feel during the tour is something we will never forget. I highly recommend visiting Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary to anyone looking for a meaningful, educational, and unforgettable experience.
Great place which gives you an insight into the wolfdogs and their behaviours . Very knowledgeable team who are happy to explain things . What a great job they do, very passionate
Self guided tour at a slow ish pace, reading about half the signs and stopping to admire all that we could see took a little over an hour. Every part of our experience was amazing, down to the gift shop
