A touristy plastic experience, a poor man’s haunted amusement park experience with little in the way historical explanation or connection. No point is visiting London do this.
This is a live interactive show, loads of loud bangs and surprises to make you jump. The actors are great and put their heart and soul into experience.
Asked my teenager what his highlight of our weeklong London adventure was and he immediately said the London Dungeon. It was easy to get there and so fun but also packed full of information that shows a different side of London that is missing at most of the tourist attractions. The actors were fabulous - so glad we did this.
You could tell they put a lot of effort into this. You do get a feel for a lot of the torture that took place back in the day.
Lived this it was awesome. Longer than expected. Pictures came out great!!! The actors did a really good impression and the location was a huge plus next to the eye.
London Dungeon was absolutely brilliant. The actors were incredibly talented, the storytelling was immersive, and the entire experience was entertaining, frightening, and surprisingly artistic. The witch, in particular, was stunning. I felt like I was watching a piece of dark theater. It was eerie, beautiful, and unforgettable. Our 10 year old daughter is very sensitive, and honestly, London Dungeon is not something we ever would have guessed she would choose. But when we mentioned it, she was determined to try. We encouraged her, and she bravely stepped into something outside of her comfort zone. About halfway through, it became too much for her and she decided she wanted to leave. This is where I became an even bigger fan of London Dungeon. The staff immediately and kindly escorted us out of the experience. Then, the actors came to see her as themselves, showing her that it was all pretend. They even had the actor who frightened her the most come back and make a warm, friendly appearance before we left. I was genuinely touched by the compassion they showed. I never would have expected them to take so much time and care to make sure she felt safe and comfortable before we walked away. Thank you, London Dungeon, for giving her the chance to test her bravery and for supporting her when she discovered she wasn’t quite ready to make it all the way through. Because of the kindness you showed her, she left feeling proud of herself rather than ashamed of being scared and she has already said she might come back someday when she’s a little older and ready to face it again. That kindness made the experience every bit as memorable as the incredible performances. You are truly the best. 🖤
Our Witch is truly moved by your beautiful tale… exactly the kind of story she holds dear. She’s honoured to have been your highlight… but even more so to hear how your daughter faced the darkness, step by step, until she knew it was time to turn back. That, she knows, takes a different kind of courage. Do come back when she’s ready… every fear can be faced in time, and the Witch will be waiting! 🖤 If you’re happy to, please email us at LDguestexperience@merlinentertainments.biz with the date and time of your visit, along with any details you remember about the shows you stepped out of. We’d love to make sure the actors who supported your daughter receive the recognition they truly deserve. Guest Experience Team The London Dungeon
Brilliant experience! Really immersive and so much fun! Highly recommend it! Don’t be afraid to get involved! Also had a cocktail in the tavern!
I really wasn't sure what to expect but ended up really enjoying it! Visited with my 12 year old (his choice) and bits were quite scary but fun at the same time. We were in a small group with other families, which was good. Booked tickets through Tesco clubcard vouchers which was really easy and able to change time of visit at short notice. I'd just advise to go with an open mind and be willing to join in!
The Jester is delighted you took a chance on his little show… uncertainty makes the fun so much more entertaining. He’s pleased you and your brave young companion embraced the fright, and it's even better when you join in and play along. After all, the best guests are the ones willing to be part of the mischief. Do come back… he always has a few more surprises waiting for open minds like yours 🃏 Guest Experience Team The London Dungeon
Brilliant & atmospheric. Always a good visit
Your five stars has earned you a permanent place in Mrs. Lovett’s good books (just don’t ask what’s in the cookbook). We’re thrilled you had a terrifyingly terrific time 🥧🩸 Guest Experience Team The London Dungeon
Would have rated this 1* but as we used Tesco vouchers to pay for it and the ride was good I decided on 2*. 2 adults and 1 child was £99 to walk around for 85 minutes. For that price I was expecting some jump scares, some history and generally a good time. I was board for the most of it. The actors were shouting their heads off which I can partly understand as they want the crowd to hear them but for me I just had a headache. My 11 year old was sadly not impressed:-(
My, my, my… Well, well, well… What can be said about this 2-star review? Beheading seems the most suitable punishment for this kind of treachery! 💀 Please contact LDguestexperience@merlinentertainments.biz to let us know how we can improve. Guest Experience Team The London Dungeon
