I have used Viator many times and have always had great experiences, which is why this was so disappointing. We booked a horseback riding excursion that was listed as being close to Florence. After booking, we realized the actual location was nearly two hours away by train. When we looked into alternative transportation, we were told that if we took a taxi, it would be difficult to secure a ride back. As female travelers, this raised safety concerns and made us very uncomfortable. Because of this, we made the decision not to attend the experience. We reached out to Viator for support, hoping for some flexibility or assistance given the misleading location details, but unfortunately did not receive help. This experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially since we have had such positive experiences with Viator in the past. I would strongly recommend double checking the exact location of any excursion before booking.
