Au crépuscule, la plupart de la faune diurne cherche le meilleur endroit pour se reposer. Mais c'est aussi le moment où les créatures nocturnes commencent à apparaître.

Visite nocturne : Nous nous caractérisons pour avoir un excellent service personnalisé, nous commencerons la visite dès qu'il fera assez sombre (17h30) pour pouvoir profiter et découvrir à quel point la forêt est différente la nuit. Pendant que nous parcourons les sentiers, le guide trouvera, pointera, enseignera et vous montrera où et comment trouver la faune. Le guide porte une puissante lunette d'observation pour pouvoir mieux apprécier la flore et la faune ainsi que pour prendre des photos avec vos téléphones portables à travers la lunette.

This event met our expectations and we had a lot of fun along the way. Meeting before it got dark was a good way to get intros out of the way and gain our bearings and develop expectations, The small group vibe was inviting to quietly chat and share in discoveries along the guided tour. For a first time evening walk, this was the right length for us.
One of our favorite wildlife tours in Costa Rica! Christian (Chris) was an AMAZING guide - full of interesting knowledge and pointing out things we would have never seen on our own. In fact, he was often pointing other guides to animals that he spotted. My husband remarked that he could have spent an entire day with him just chatting and soaking up info about Costa Rica and its flora and fauna. Highly, highly recommend!
This tour was a true highlight of what was an incredible trip to Costa Rica. Oscar's enthusiasm about the cloud forest was infectious. He has a remarkably keen eye for spotting expertly camouflaged wildlife in the dark. Throughout the tour, he shared a wealth of knowledge about the cloud forest and its inhabitants. This tour was a wild sensory experience. Among other animals, we saw tree frogs, pit vipers, a tarantula, a salamander, a giant grasshopper and scorpions. Sturdy footwear is a must.
Chris/Christian was an amazing guide and we were able to learn so much and see a lot of awesome animals in Monteverde after dark! We felt safe the entire time and the guide has not only great eyes for spotting wildlife but a ton of knowledge and insight about conservation. It was awesome to support a small local family business that prioritizes conservation. Would definitely recommend Wildlife Refuge Monteverde, C. Nasua team is very professional to identify and introduce species in the rain forest. They taught me and my daughter a lot of knowledge with great kindness and professionalism.
We were happy to see a sleeping toucan, some frogs, tarantulas and a scorpion. Unfortunately most of the tour was just walking through the dark without our guide talking much about the forest. It would have been nice had he explained more about the ecology of the forest since there were not many animals out to see. Also, this tour was a bit pricey and compared to other tours we did it did not measure up.
It was a really cool experience! We got to see a tarantula, a sleeping, howler, monkey, a sleeping, hummingbird, and some other really neat. Bring a jacket! It gets chilly at night. And make sure to wear closed toe shoes- there are scorpions,
We had an excellent experience! Our guide was brilliant and obviously very experienced. He was able to find some fantastic things for us and gave so much background and insight. Would highly recommend!
We had our night tour with Christian and he was an amazing guide. We saw a sleeping toucan and hummingbird, a sloth with her baby, and a few other creatures. It was one of the highlights of our trip and we highly recommend taking a tour here!
