Aventures nocturnes à Monteverde
Description
Nous sommes un espace de conservation, où se mélangent forêts primaires et secondaires, entourant une petite plantation de café. Dans cet espace, vous pourrez vivre l'expérience d'une aventure nocturne, en parcourant les sentiers à la recherche de la faune nocturne, qui attend au crépuscule pour émerger. Cette expérience vous donne la possibilité de partir à la recherche de cette vie nocturne à travers des petits groupes de moins de 8 personnes (ils ne sont pas privés), guidés par un guide qui anime le groupe et connaît tous les recoins de la propriété. Dans cet espace, nous avons la possibilité de voir des oiseaux actifs et endormis, des mammifères nocturnes, des amphibiens, des reptiles et des insectes, ainsi qu'une superbe vue sur les étoiles (tant que le temps le permet).

Great night adventure for those that want to see more wildlife. The guide was awesome and found kikajou, porcupines, several snakes, spiders and a scorpion.
Our night tour with Allan was truly a highlight! He was a fantastic guide and explained the animals we discovered—from tarantulas and other spiders to the porcupine and armadillo—as well as nature in a very simple and exciting way. We were also lucky to have a VIP tour, as no one else was registered besides us ☺️ Absolutely recommendable!
When you arrive at the coffee plantation shop, you wouldn’t be at fault for thinking you were being shown around someone’s backyard but what you soon realise is that the coffee plantation is in the jungle. He and his wife are huge wildlife enthusiasts - we saw so much, a sleeping toucan, armadillos, snakes, owls and much more. After doing a couple of more commercials animal tours, this was a breathe of fresh air and a glimpse into something special
The hike was quite a hunt for nocturnal animals and interesting night crawlers. We found a porcupine and sleeping birds in trees and many interesting insects. Alan was very friendly and easy to converse with. We learned a lot about Costa Rican culture and the creatures we encountered.
At first it seemed very scary, but once you get used to the feeling, you don‘t want to stop explore the forest and see more and more animals. Our guide Alan was very passionate about the wildlife and gave interesting information. He is a very open and kind guide.
This experience was great! Our guide was knowledgeable and did a wonderful job with our youngest daughter. He communicated with other guides so when they came across something cool they would share with each other so each group could see. We saw a porcupine, crickets, spiders, a butterfly, a scorpion, a walking stick, tons of leaf cutter ant colonies and so much more!
Great experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and we learned a lot. The hike was not challenging. My 8 year-old daughter and 66 year-old mother had no issue navigating the trails. My daughter LOVED seeing all the bugs. Our guide was so great with her. It was a highlight of our trip!
We had soooo much fun on this night walk, and it’s a lot less expensive than other options in Monteverde. Our guide Junior was amazing, and we got to see everything we wanted: a sloth, 3 kinkajous, an armadillo, scorpions, porcupine, and a bunch of frogs and beetles. Everyone was so kind, and they arranged transportation for us. Our driver Alonso was great too and helped us with our Spanish :) 10/10 experience. Muchas gracias!!!

Junior is a genius coffee and wildlife expert. My girlfriend and I had the best time. I didn’t realize the coffee tour was included so that was a nice surprise. We learned so much about coffee and saw so many animals during the night tour including an armadillo, viper, some sleeping birds/turkeys and frogs. Lots of fun bugs too like the scorpions. 10/10 recommended
