This visit was replaced by the Anthropology Museum and Chatulpec Castle. We were with Giana, excellent guide who speaks perfect English and even French! I highly recommend it.
Excellent tour of the Palace of Fine Arts and other historic buildings of the city. We spend over an hour with a thorough explanations of the precious murals at the palace including controversial masterpieces by Diego Rivera and others. This tour provided great insights into the magnificent architecture and the stories behind it.
Dear Rania_S, Thank you sincerely for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and beautifully composed review. It is truly rewarding to hear how much you enjoyed the experience and how meaningful the visit to the Palace of Fine Arts and the surrounding historic buildings felt for you. Exploring the architectural heritage of Mexico City already offers an immense amount of beauty, but when combined with the opportunity to learn about the murals inside the palace, the experience becomes something far more memorable and enriching. We are especially delighted that you appreciated the in‑depth explanations about the murals — including those by Diego Rivera and other iconic artists. These works are not only visually impressive but also deeply tied to cultural identity, political movements, and key historical debates. Understanding their symbolism and historical context truly elevates the experience, and your comments beautifully reflect that impact. Your observation about spending more than an hour exploring the murals with such detailed commentary tells us that the guide delivered the experience with the level of care, clarity, and dedication that we strive to offer every day. We’re grateful that you highlighted this, as it reinforces the importance of slow, attentive exploration when visiting places with such artistic significance. Thank you again for sharing your impressions with such warmth. It was a pleasure to accompany you through a part of Mexico City’s artistic heart. Kind regards, Ramos, Quality Team
The experience was canceled without any notification. No email, no message in Viator, no call/text. No one at the company answered when I called and the Viator company could not get them to answer either. This was frustrating.
The tour guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. The were also very enthusiastic about their jobs. They were very concerned about us understanding what we were visiting. They had excellent English skills.
Yair was an excellent tour guide—knowledgeable, thorough, and approachable. His friendly demeanor made it easy to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of Mexico's history.
So little explanation about each of the palaces. Too many details on murals. We were not allowed to inside the palaces interiors (correos, inside Bellas Artes theatre, we had to later bye ourselves. The 4 hr tour ended in less than 3 hts. The guide was always in a rush.
Palace de Bella arte and munal were good. Info shared more detail than necessary. We were not taken in to the postal palace and you getting to the banco de Mexico but your tour guide does not join you. On your own. Overall tour was 2 1/2 hours ( started 20 mins late)
We highly recommend Leo as a guide. He is very friendly, accommodating, extremely knowledgeable therefore the tour is enjoyable…. Great experience.
I absolutely loved my tour with the wonderful Adhara! Adhara is extremely knowledgeable about architecture and art, and passionate about her love of Mexican culture. She was a joy to be with. Adhara took me to a number of significant buildings. The Palacio de Bellas Artes was a standout. It is beautiful from the outside, but even more exciting were the Diego Rivera murals in the interior. I had no idea these murals would be on the tour and very excited to see his work. There are also many murals by Siquerios in the building that are pretty "wild" and worth seeing. Adhara explained the meaning of the all of the murals to me -- she did an outstanding job and truly understands these art pieces. Another favorite building on the tour was the Old Post Office, a beautiful ornate building with an incredible interior. The National Art Museum was also a fabulous stop. The art work within is from the 1500's through present day. Adhara again presented the key pieces to me and also gave me a few minutes to wander through the exhibits solo. We also visited the Bank of Mexico museum--an exhibit of the monetary system in Mexico that was fun to go through. Because we had a few minutes left, Adhara took me for a few blocks further into the downtown--where we admired beautiful colonial buildings and got a nice feel for the area. She also took me to the oldest candy store in Mexico and bought a little treat for me. I thought that was so kind of her! This is an incredible tour. I highly recommend Adhara and Must-see Buildings and Palaces of Mexico City.

We’re grateful for your recommendation and hope to see you again on another tour! Best regards from the quality team at Amigo Tours. Renata
Leonardo brought us around to several beautiful buildings in the area that we absolutely loved. I would not recommend going to Palacio de Bellas Artes WITHOUT going to it first on this tour. Leonardo knew so much history about the building and all the murals inside that we would have lost out on had he not been there. We we're able to see so much in just a few hours and Leonardo made it so easy and digestible for us
Dear Reece_R, Thank you for your wonderful feedback! It’s great to know that you felt you were able to see and learn so much in just a few hours :) We look forward to welcoming you again for another memorable experience. Best regards from the entire Amigo Tours Quality team. Renata
