Really enjoyable time on the crag yesterday! My first time climbing outdoors and definately not the last. Great intro course from gym to rock! The session was adapted to meet the needs of the group, very welcoming environment to people of all abilities. Would highly recommend!

Amazing experience As an indoor boulderer this was my first outdoor experience and there was no one else more perfectly suited to pop my rock cherry than Alex. Alex showed me how to do a figure of 8 knot about a million times and he was always patient despite my goldfish like brain. He made me into an expert belayer by showing proper consistent technique and therefore not only I can tie a figure of 8. I can now save lives. Thanks to Alex. We did a variety of routes that were a blast and it culminated into a tricky slab. This was by far the must humbling albeit rewarding part of the trip. I was sliding my feet around the rockface like Bambi with the occasional reassuring chirp from Alex "HAVE YOU TRIED THAT HORIZONTAL BIT" which in fact was great advice and I sent it. Anyway. Long story short. Can't go wrong with this company and if you've got Alex. Even better. In fact. It's almost like meeting Alex Honnold. I mean they have the same first name 11/10 would recommend to every climber who wants to try feeling lots of rocks

Absolutely cracking afternoon, thoroughly enjoyed it. Was supposed to be 4 of us but 2 could not go. Rob was great and even though reduced numbers we still got the full 3.5 hours climbing. Was great value for money. Be prepared to ache after. Certainly used muscles that I don't normally use. Would highly recommend to all. Very personable experience.

Signed up on their website. The day before was contacted by Rob to work out logistics and get a sense of skills/goals/options. Over a series of messages decided on the plan for the next day. Met up with Rob at the carpark near the crag. Filled out the obligatory waiver (that I'd forgotten to do beforehand). We then went through a series of gear & safety checks, then a quick warmup for fingers, shoulders, and hips (Rob's a PT and encourages avoiding injuries). From there we walked over to the wall and got started. Had a blast climbing in the gorge -- first time climbing in the UK, but won't be the last. Definitely recommend Rob from the perspective of knowledge, safety, gear, and general vibe too.

I went rock climbing with my three children, aged 8, 10 and 12, and we all had a brilliant experience. Everything was safe and very well organised. Our instructor was friendly, patient and gave excellent technical guidance, making sure each child felt confident and supported. It was great fun for the whole family, and we would definitely recommend it!

Fantastic morning climbing, something we have never done other than indoor climbing. Highly recommend, Rob's knowledge and encouragement were exactly what was needed to get us to the top. So much fun, although rather achy the next couple of days as used muscles I didn't know I had, lol!!! It was a fun and friendly small group and the experience lasted about 3.5 hours, brilliant morning and suitable for all ages as there were some younger climber in our group.

Rob guided me on a series of pitches at the gorge. Previously I've really only bouldered indoor to an intermediate level. I found the experience brilliant. Rob was super professional, clear in all instructions so I felt confident belaying and climbing. He led me up really exciting routes that increasingly challenged my foot and handwork, with a strong adrenaline buzz due to the height. Would absolutely recommend to anyone with some indoor experience seeking some real world climbing.

Excellent introduction to outside climbing, friendly and helpful instructor.

Did the Avon Gorge Climbing Experience this morning. It was my first time climbing outdoors after only doing indoor climbing for about a year, and the instructor was incredibly friendly and informative, and helped with pushing us to go further, without adding any pressure, as well as providing great information on safety. We also had the fortune of having lovely weather, which is always a bonus. All in all a great experience and we plan on doing more outdoor climbing in the furture.
