Went for a bike tour and a little bit hike with Tristan today. He is very patient with my dad and he knew Hong Kong well. Me n my dad enjoyed it so much. Ps. Tristan is very handsome 🤭🤭
Thanks ever so much for touring with us! So glad you had a great time 😊
The tour is along a public bike track through unattractive streets/areas. There is very little time spent near the water. I don’t know where the harbour was. It was a different experience to what was expected.
Disappointed to hear you think Hong Kong is unattractive. The route you took went along the harbour side almost the entire ride, with the water in plain sight. Maybe you got confused with another harbour when gathering expectations?
Instructions were clear to meet our guide (a Frenchman!) at the Tai Po Market MTR outside Starbucks. I was not expecting to take a taxi cab to pick-up our rental bicycles. Our bike ride across the dam of Plover Cove Reservoir was quite scenic. Although I was comfortable riding on the roads with cars, this was not a family-friendly ride. I thought we would be riding more on the marked bicycle paths I saw around town on the public bus we took returning to our meeting start location. It would have been nice to see more of the harbor area on these cycle paths rather than hike through the woods to see the two waterfalls.
We take families with children on this route most weeks, there have never been any issues whatsoever with regard to it being 'family-friendly'. They love it! Based purely on the experience of guides and actual family participants on this tour, we disagree with your assessment of the tours suitability for families. Additionally, the route is adapted every time we go out depending on the requirements of customers. So as you were a solo adult participant; we went a more adventurous way, than we may have done with younger kids. Please don't hesitate to ever ask the guide if there are particular points of interest you would like to see more of (such as the harbour area), then we can ensure you get to see them. Glad you had a nice time none the less.

Fantastic interesting/knowledgeable guide!
Very hot/humid day but certainly worth a venture outside of the city.

Rory was a great guide, paced himself against our speed. A nice view of the outskirts of HK. My kids loved it. Very flat and easy route.
