Découvrez Cork lors d'une visite à pied familiale qui mélange douceurs, histoire riche et charme local. Nous commençons à Cameron Bakery avec des pâtisseries fraîches et beurrées avant de flâner le long de Merchant’s Quay, le long de la sinueuse rivière Lee. À Emmet Place, nous mettrons en lumière certains des monuments les plus emblématiques de Cork. Une courte promenade nous amène à l’une de nos boutiques partenaires sur la rue historique Frenchchurch, où vous pourrez déguster des beignets faits frais le matin même. Nous vous offrirons ensuite des variétés colorées et créatives qui mettent en valeur le flair et la saveur modernes de Cork. Alors que nous nous dirigeons vers notre dernier arrêt au Café Mexicana, nous passerons devant l’historique Coal Quay, un site de commerce depuis des siècles. Dans ce café cosy niché dans le quartier huguenot, vous aurez le choix entre Alfajores ou le gâteau mexicain de grand-mère pour une finale sucrée. Cette visite est parfaite pour les familles, les amateurs de cuisine et tous ceux qui souhaitent explorer les saveurs, les histoires et l'âme de Cork de manière amusante et détendue.

Ici, nous explorerons cette partie de la ville de Cork, qui aurait été une ruche d'activité à travers les siècles, alors que les bateaux naviguaient dans et hors de la ville avec diverses cargaisons, l'un des plus célèbres étant des fûts de beurre de liège de qualité supérieure.
Situé à Emmet Place est l'un des plus célèbres opéras d'Irlande. Debout devant les portes d’entrée, nous vous expliquerons la merveilleuse histoire de ce bâtiment emblématique, en plus de vous indiquer, les célèbres cloches Shandon, et deux magnifiques maisons Queen Anne, dont l’une est exploitée par la chaîne de cafés International, Starbucks.
Statue honorifique en bronze du célèbre guitariste natif de rock et de blues sur une place qui lui est dédiée. Vous êtes invités à prendre des photos avec Rory pendant que nous vous parlons un peu de lui et de sa relation avec Cork.
S'arrêtant au cœur de la cité médiévale de Cork, nous indiquerons les endroits, où les Irlandais devaient acheter leur nourriture, et regarderons les célèbres armoiries de Cork, qui sont situées sur un mur, où se trouvait l'une des anciennes tours du château de Queens.
Promenez-vous sur Washington Street, en admirant l'extraordinaire palais de justice de Cork, l'Emporium Reardons et la merveilleuse église St. Augustines.
Enfin, dans la dernière étape de notre voyage, nous nous promènerons au cœur de la ville moderne de Cork, Patrick street, en admirant la multitude de styles architecturaux des bâtiments exposés. Nous vous indiquerons le cimetière historique Hugenot, situé au cœur de la ville, avant de vous amener à votre dernière étape dans le Café Mexicana.

Our tour guide Mary was so friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary restrictions. The tour was fun and informative on Cork history and also on modern day information. And most importantly it was delicious! We Loved how the donuts were not all traditional donuts and each stop was very different! Our fave was the Japanese donut followed by the Mexican one! A great way to eat your way thru the city!

The experience was fun, nice to see Cork. It was a little expensive for what it was, but we did get a lot of treats for free including donuts, bakery pastries, etc. The tour was long, but enjoyable because we got to see so many sights. The crowd was small, but nice people. Our guide, Esther, was very very kind, seemed very into the history of cork, and was enjoyable to be around. The atmosphere of cork and the different places we went was very cool, different vibes in each place. This is best for families that are looking to learn about the history of cork.
