Luca was very charming and fun. He provided a delicious meal….starter with 2 kinds of cheese, 3 kinds of salami, and bruschetta. Then a pasta course with shrimp and zucchini. Third course was eggplant lasagna, and finally tiramisu. And white wine and red wine. A beautiful evening at his home. The four of us enjoyed it immensely. Bravo, Luca! Oh, and he was in touch with us ahead of time to discuss the menu and to make sure we didn’t have any dietary restrictions. Very thoughtful of him.
This was such a unique experience; Luca is a wonderful chef and host. This evening was the highlight of our time in Amsterdam - highly recommend it!!

My husband and I dined with Liang and Luca in early January- wow what a great expereince from beginning to end! Overall the experience was very warm- delicious food and welcoming hospitality. Both Liang and Luca shared their stories from growing up in Italy and helped us create our own itinerary for when we travel to Italy. The eggplant parmigiana is a favorite of mine and Luca made one that I am still dreaming of...same with the tiramisu! The wine was great and I loved that they opened their home to us. It felt very authentic sitting at their long table, I genuinely found this a much more intimate way to dine vs being in a restaurant. I left feeling like we made new friends (who doesn't want that?) and wishing that they were my neighbours. I would recommend this to anyone who is travelling and tired of restaurant experiences and people looking to learn more about Italy. Don't sleep on this unique experience!!
