Itinéraire
Votre visite commence par le transport depuis Cracovie (hôtel ou adresse que vous avez indiqué). Le musée d'Auschwitz-Birkenau est situé dans la ville Oswiecim, environ 1h15min en aller simple (65km). Chaque conducteur avec lequel nous coopérons a toutes les autorisations requises par l'UE pour le transport de passagers. Un Pro Anglais et amical du groupe vous assistera à tout moment dont vous avez besoin. Après votre arrivée à Oswiecim, faites une courte pause pour prendre un café ou garder un œil sur les expositions en plein air.Ensuite, soyez aimablement présenté à votre Guide local et professionnel qui est agréé par le musée d'Auschwitz-Birkenau.
Commencez votre visite en franchissant la porte du premier camp - Auschwitz I - conçu à l'origine comme un camp de concentration, destiné à être utilisé comme centre de détention pour les nombreux citoyens polonais arrêtés après l'annexion du pays par l'Allemagne en 1939, avec le signe le plus reconnaissable Arbeit Macht Frei (Le travail vous rend libre). Cette partie prend généralement 2 heures et vous utiliserez un casque pour entendre clairement votre guide. Le groupe selon la règle du Musée compte jusqu'à 30 personnes rendant la visite confortable et accessible pour chaque participant. Visitez les bâtiments en bois d'origine, les murs fortifiés, les barbelés, les chambres à gaz et les crématoires - tout cela laisse une impression choquante permettant d'imaginer l'ampleur de l'Holocauste.
Après le 1er camp, une courte pause jusqu'à 15 minutes est prévue. Nous vous emmènerons visiter la deuxième partie de la visite - Birkenau (Auschwitz II), à seulement 3 minutes, qui est le plus grand camp construit et exploité dans le but spécifique de rendre l'Europe '' Judenrein '' (libérée des Juifs ). Le même guide poursuit une conférence poignante sur le camp du village de Brzezinka (Birkenau) qui a été construit en 1941 sur ordre de Heinrich Himmler (commandant SS) et pouvait contenir quelque 90 000 prisonniers. On vous racontera de terribles histoires de vie inimaginables ainsi que la sélection cruelle et les expériences médicales pseudo-scientifiques faites par d'éminents médecins nazis, dont Josef Mengele. Une histoire sur les soldats de la 60e armée du premier front ukrainien a ouvert les portes d'Auschwitz le 27 janvier 1945, ce qui signifiait la libération finale, termine votre visite avec un sentiment, à la fois ce génocide n'aurait jamais dû se produire et il ne peut plus se reproduire .
Une fois la visite terminée, le chauffeur vous déposera à votre hôtel ou à votre adresse à Cracovie.

- [VISITE] Visite guidée en groupe uniquement, pas de rythme individuel. Comportement respectueux et tenue décontractée intelligente requise. Il est interdit de manger, de fumer et de faire du bruit.
- Certains hôtels de Cracovie sont dans des zones à circulation restreinte. La prise en charge sera organisée à partir du point accessible le plus proche et vous serez informé à l'avance.
- Le déjeuner n'est pas inclus. Il n'y a pas de temps pour un repas complet entre les visites, et pas d'installations de restauration sur place, donc s'il vous plaît apporter une collation.

- [RÉNOVATIONS] En raison de travaux routiers dans l'ouest de Cracovie, les ramassages dans cette zone ne sont pas possibles. Le point de rencontre Straszewskiego 19 est temporairement fermé. Nous organiserons une alternative à proximité si nécessaire.

It feels inappropriate to say I enjoyed visiting Auschwitz - Birkenau but I'm glad there are those dedicated to maintaining it as a reminder of some of the darkest times in our history. Hello Krakow was a good tour operator, we were always informed of any updates and changes and any questions promptly answered. Our group was a double decker coach full which was well shephered into three smaller groups for the tours. Our guide, Agata, weaved the poignant story of Auschwitz - Birkenau with empathy and dignity, some of the items were 'uncomfortable' to view but Agata described them with the utmost respect, and answered every question, no matter how awkward. making the experience more powerful. Everyone should visit this place, not only to reflect and remember, but to help prevent history repeating itself.

Ourr tour guide at Auschwitz & Birkenau was incredible! She was informative and easy to understand. She was well organized, and able to educate our group in 94 degree weather without a sweat. Robert, the guide that picked us up was very organized and brought us nice box lunches. (extra). My only complaint is that you only have 15 mins between tours, and it's not enough time to eat your lunch, and go to the bathroom. And, the only place to eat it was on a bench in the sun in 94 degree weather. There must be a better way to do it. While I feel bad even complaining, after what we learned 6 million Jews and more went through in those camps.

It was sobering and educational. Our tour guide had excellent knowledge and experience of the camp and shared his personal family relationship to concentration camps and the history of the Nazi occupation which made it quite meaningful.

From pick-up at the hotel to drop-off everything proceeds perfectly!. The tour guide was attentive and gave good directives oxh information. The guide well-read, informative and spoke clear English. If you ended up further back in the group, it was harder to keep up when the guide told you about the things that you have not yet concluded. A smaller group size might have been preferable. Slightly short time for lunch.

I completely messed up the pickup point this morning. But within minutes of contacting Viator, we still managed to go on our trip. Well done Viator. Pickup and drop off went efficiently, the 1.5 hour journey was comfortable and the minivan was air-conditioned, though it was full and it was probably a bit cramped for the two in the front seats. Got to Auschwitz and there was some confusion, with the guide turning up half an hour late. Despite this, the guide was very good and explained all the main aspects in good English with the respect and solemnity required of such an 'attraction'. But it was all very rushed. The girls barely had time to queue for the toilets and we all had to eat lunch in the van going between sites. We weren't really given time to read the information plaques on all the exhibits. It didn't help that the weather was scorchingly hot in the morning when we were traipsing between buildings at Auschwitz and then thundering down at Birkenau which was all outside, but that's not their fault and I guess being shown around in luxury and comfort would not have been appropriate. Despite all this I would recommend it; I think they were having a bad day but we saw everything as promised and were delivered back to our hotel in good time. The sites themselves are well-laid out and well-managed. I think everyone should come here at some point in their lives; it is sobering, horrifying and eye-opening. One word of warning - there is a lot of walking involved; you are on your feet all day, though this would be the case with any tour operator.
