Excellent paella experience

A fun couple of hours where I really learnt how to make a Spanish omelette, local paella and desert cake. Roberto was a fun chef that really explained each element. Really worth the time. Excellent experience

Paella and Vino - Perfecto!

This was an absolutely brilliant experience- we not only learned the history of Paella and how to properly prepare it, we shared the time with people from five other countries. We also learned how to cook traditional Spanish omelette and sponge cake for dessert. Pair those with wine and Sangria and it’s as good as it gets!

Informative and exciting cooking class for paella, tortilla, and more.

The cooking school is in a residential area, far from the tourist spots, but easily accessible by public transport. The market hall we visited is small, charming, and tailored to the needs of the neighborhood, with no tourists except for us. The chef competently and humorously guided 11 people through informative and educational 2.5 hours, during which we made Paella Valenciana, tortilla, and a cake. Step by step and with tips and tricks, we became cooks ourselves. Delicious, exciting, and leaves you wanting more!

Came for the Paella but blown away by the cake

Came to this class to learn how to make paella, which we did, and it was a great experience, but my favorite thing was learning how to make a Valencia “cocoa,” which is cake. Very simple recipe that is very versatile and very delicious. We also learned how to make a tortilla Española. Well worth it. Wonderful experience.

Authentic local experience!

This was a wonderful class and a truly authentic local experience! We had a great time and would do again. Our instructor lead us on a trip to the market explaining how the ingredients for the Spanish tortilla and the paella were sourced. Even though our cooking groups were strangers when we met we bonded over the shared experience.

Authentic feel and a wonderful experience

This was a great experience with Arturo who provided hands on learning with a fun sense of humor. We enjoyed learning how paella is made in Valencia with a tasty meal afterwards. Definitely recommend this! It is about 2 1/2 hours of your time and well worth the $75 per person

Excellent and fun experience

Group of 10 at a large table. Nice clean well equipped kitchen. Started with a few snacks and water/sangria. The chef was excellent and funny. He explained the 3 things we would be cooking (tortilla, chicken/rabbit paella and cake) particularly the different types of paella and what you could add versus not. He explained preparing things (hands on) as well particularly how to cook the paella and the pitfalls of not doing so.
