On April 6, 2026 I took the USS Arizona Memorial and Downtown Honolulu Tour. The USS Arizona Memorial was a sobering, thoughtful, humbling experience. To be at the place where so many of our sailors and marines lost their lives in defense of our country and be at a place where an event that was so important to our nation and the world was incredibly special. I also visited a couple of the museums that dealt with the PH attack. Exhibitions were amazing and well done. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to visit the Submarine or Aviation Museums or the USS Missouri, though I’ve heard they were fantastic. The Honolulu city tour was also very interesting and informative. Saw The Queen’s Palace (though wasn’t able to go inside), drove through The National Cemetery in The Punch Bowl, saw the Indian Banyan trees (incredible!). Our Tour Guide,Will, was AMAZING! He was caring and kept up with everyone in the tour group! He was friendly, helpful and polite. He was very knowledgeable and told the stories about the PH attacks and other details about Honolulu with enthusiasm and energy that held my attention. I knew quite a bit about the PH attack, but he told many little known details I didn’t know. Will was a fantastic Guide and I was fortunate to have him as my Guide. He’s A Keeper!!!
Thank you so much for sharing such a thoughtful and detailed review of your April 6 experience with our USS Arizona Memorial and Downtown Honolulu Tour. We’re truly glad the visit to Pearl Harbor was as meaningful and moving as it should be. It’s a place that carries deep significance, and it’s important to us that our guests are able to experience it in a respectful and memorable way. It’s also great to hear that you enjoyed the city portion of the tour, from the historic sites to the natural beauty around Honolulu. There’s so much to take in, and we’re happy you found it both interesting and informative. Most of all, we appreciate your kind words about Will. He takes great pride in what he does, and your recognition of his knowledge, energy, and care for the group truly means a lot. We’ll be sure to pass this along to him—he’ll be thrilled to hear it. We’d love to welcome you back in the future, especially so you can experience the USS Missouri, Submarine, and Aviation Museums next time! Warm regards,
Bad bad experience! We booked for March 26 but got bumped to April 1 when we were not even going to be in Hawaii. Was able to cancel however and re-book for the following day Thursday, but again had issues. We booked it for 8 o’clock and we didn’t get there until 1130 because of transportation issues we kept getting pushed back further and further. Because of this, we had to cut the trip short because we had already made another engagement and in order to accommodate that we had tocut the tour short, which was very frustrating. Will never book through TripAdvisor again.
Aloha, Mahalo for sharing your experience, and we sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience you went through. The changes to your original booking date and the delays on the day of your tour are not the standard we strive to provide. We understand how upsetting it must have been, especially having to cut your tour short due to scheduling conflicts. Your feedback regarding communication and transportation delays is very important, and we will be reviewing this to help improve coordination and prevent similar situations in the future. We truly regret that this experience impacted your trip and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. 🌺
Will our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Pearl Harbor. Expected more history on city and a longer tour. It was rush hour so I know it would have been difficult.
Aloha! 🌺 Mahalo for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that Will provided great knowledge about Pearl Harbor 🤙 We understand your wish for more city history and a longer tour, and we appreciate your understanding regarding traffic and timing challenges. Your comments are valuable and will help us improve the overall experience for future guests. We hope to welcome you back to Hawaiʻi for an even more in-depth and enjoyable adventure soon! 🌈
Cloudy, muddy water for the USS Arizona but tour was great otherwise. Cuzin Miah was an awesome tour guide! Informational, engaging, and connected with the tour making us feel like family! 10/10 would recommend

The details while booking are misleading !!! We could have better taken a taxi or Uber from hotel to Pearl Harbour… The bus just picked us and dropped us off at Pearl Harbour. USS Arizona tickets are NOT included as mentioned in the booking and we had to stand in a long “standby” queue, something we could have done ourselves. There is no tour guide, nothing. Would strongly recommend that this tour should be avoided !!
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that visits to Pearl Harbor are entirely self-guided, as confirmed by the official Pearl Harbor National Memorial and visitor information. Due to the holiday season, Pearl Harbor can be extra busy and timing for entry can be affected. We do reserve USS Arizona tickets in advance, but sometimes waits are unavoidable. We hope you’ll give us another chance next time to show you a smoother, more enjoyable experience. 🌺
Not worth it. All they do is drive you to Pearl Harbor and you're on your own from 7:00am to 10:30am. The tour guide is not with you. And you have to sign up at a kiosk for standby tickets for USS Arizona. Tickets are not guaranteed. No tickets to anything are included. They engage in deceptive marketing as the description says: "Entry tickets to all the attractions on your tour are included" and "Entry tickets to the attractions on your tour will be provided by your guide on the day of your tour" and "Admission Included" for USS Arizona. The guide does not give you any tickets, and nowhere does it say that you will be on standby for USS Arizona. On the way back, there is one stop at King Kamehameha Statue and you'll pass by some other sites, but it was quick and not really worth it. This is not much more than a very expensive Uber ride to Pearl Harbor. I recommend taking an Uber instead and saving your money.

This tour ran very smoothly. Couldn't quite work out reason for 6.10am pick up but all became clear when we got to Pearl Harbour Memorial. Tickets to theatre and boat experience were booked early which beat the crowds and the heat, so good. The rest of the tour of Honolulu highlights was also good with our guide Summer being very knowledgeable. In all, would recommend as Pearl Harbour experience a must to fully understand. Maybe a short stop at Punchbowl lookout and/or cemetery would have been a good inclusion.
Thank you, Kim! We're thrilled you had such a memorable experience and enjoyed Summer's guidance. Hearing that Pearl Harbor was a highlight means a lot. We look forward to welcoming you on more tours in the future!
