This trip was canceled due to lack of snow and they did not immediately refund me like the other tours did. They should also notify people farther in advance than one day so we can make other plans. I requested a refund and it says they may respond by April 25 which is really late and unacceptable when they knew there was no snow days ago. The least they can do was respond to my request for a credit
Hi there, We’d like to clarify that your refund was processed within 24 hours on our end. As your booking was made through Viator/Tripadvisor, they handle both the payment and the return of funds to your account. This means the timing of when the refund appears is controlled by their system and your bank, not by us. Since the cancellation took place on a Saturday, additional processing time on the banking side is normal. We understand that waiting can be frustrating, but we handled the refund promptly on our end. Kind regards, Legendary Adventure
The snowshoe hike was perfectly paced and we hiked during 3 hours through the white landscape looking at fjords and mountains. Our amazing guide, Endre, told us a lot of interesting and also funny information about the region and adapted the pace according to our little group of 8 participants. The trip was well organised and everything went smoothly; from the pick-up to the drop-off. The equipment was of good quality and we even got a few snacks and hot beverages on top of the mountain. Absolutely recommend this snowshoe hike.
Great walk accompanied with young Norwegian guides in beautiful snowy nature.
This activity was an absolute highlight of my trip to Tromso! Adrian was our guide and he was awesome - full of information and humor. We hiked up the side of a foothill for a great view and a little hot chocolate for a reward before hiking down. We moved at a good pass, but it never felt rushed or timed.
Excellent small group-8- snowshoe. Weather very windy but we made it to the top safely with Adrian. I imagine amazing views on a better day. Chocolate was tasty and very welcome. It was long enough for me to have had the experience of an adventure and tbh battling the winds.
My experience in this trip felt like the Lord of the Rings expedition and it was nothing short of magical! From the very start, our guide whom I can only describe as the embodiment of a modern day Aragorn was incredibly patient and attentive. He took the time to ensure we were all comfortable, even teaching us how to properly warm our hands when the biting frost began to creep in. When I thought I might be feeling frostbite, he handed me a piece of chocolate, which somehow felt like the greatest treasure in that moment, simple but so thoughtful. Adding to the enchantment was his majestic black German Shepherd, who accompanied us on the journey. The dog felt like a guardian sent to watch over us, walking alongside us as if it, too, knew the weight of the adventure we were on. It gave the hike an almost otherworldly feel, like we were part of a fellowship venturing through a secluded, untouched part of Middle earth. The trail itself was breathtaking, secluded and serene, with a kind of beauty that words fail to capture. It felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience, the kind of journey that stays with you forever. If you're looking for an unforgettable adventure, this is it. i Highly recommend and i will be booking a private one in the near future.
Great hike with amazing views, pure nature with total silence. We hiked while it was snowing, you need to be fit and have the correct clothes. Guides were excellent and shared lots of info and stories.
Sadly not enough snow for snowshoes so went for a hike instead.. They took us out of town for about 20 minutes, we parked up, put a set of spikes on our shoes and up we went. Two amicable guides, one Norwegian the other Swedish and a German, a German Shepherd that is, named Tim. Beautiful scenery, clean air, reasonably easy trek, a nice hot drink with a slice of chocolate at the top. Good times.
Hi there, Thank you so much for joining our Arctic Snowshoe Hike and for taking the time to share your experience! The weather conditions were quite challenging that day, with very little snow and tough winds, but we’re really proud of how the whole group handled it. Our guides did their best to adapt the tour safely by switching to a winter hike with spikes, and we’re glad you still enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the fresh Arctic air, and of course the company of our guides (and Tim, our loyal four-legged teammate!). We truly appreciate your positive attitude despite the conditions. We hope to welcome you back again—hopefully with deeper snow and calmer weather next time! Warm regards, Legendary Adventure
Brilliant trip, very well organised. Stefan, the guide, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We hiked through some amazing scenery, and stopped several times to take photos( and have a rest!). At the summit of the walk we enjoyed a hot drink and some delicious chocolate! Definite feeling of achievement afterwards. Would highly recommend
Guide was extremely friendly and super observant, often checking in on the participants to ensure we are all well. Safety is his priority!
