We chose this tour because a self drive dog sled excursion was not an option on our cruise. The meeting point was very close to our ship and the drive to the kennel was very scenic. You can tell the dogs are well cared for and love to run. There were stops along the trail for photos and we had beverages and cake back at the kennel. They provide additional clothing if you think you’ll need it. If you find yourself in Tromso and want to drive a dog sled, I recommend this tour. You will have a lot of fun.
Amazing from start to finish, staff and dogs absolutely love what they do. Dogs are friendly and well trained. Safety and equipment are excellent. Me and my wife went as our 60th birthday treat and loved every minuet of it !
As good as we hoped it would be! The tour was so well run, lovely people amazing scenery and the dogs were all lovely!
We never dog sledded before going to Tromso. We picked the tour based on review and the fact they picked people up in the city center. Plus that the bus was not huge. The drive to the tour takes a bit, and it was nice to see the landscape. When we got there, they are very organized, and you're dressed up and ready to go in no time. Meeting the dogs was so fun, and the whole sledding experience was incredible. Driving the sled is no small feat, and we quickly learnt the ropes. Guides are super friendly (and patient) and so are the dog. We so enjoyed that tour. Highly recommend!
Unfortunately i was on the Queen Victoria on a Norther Lights cruise, due to adverse weather we were unable to do this activity as the ship arrived in Tromso 6 hours late at 3:00 pm so wi missed this once in a lifetime opportunity.
So awesome! Super friendly people and snuggly dogs. An excellent tour which is a bit harder work than u might think. The driver has a lot to do. The passenger gets to relax. They stop several times to switch The snacks and hot cocoa are yummy
We did the husky experience on Monday, March 30, 2026 and it was amazing. As it was in English we were provided with a colleague who spoke Spanish for the explanation and the guide even if he did not speak Spanish said some words during the course. Very friendly and involved and all very concerned about our safety. The girl who greeted us was very friendly and also after the snow experience served us chocolate, coffee , tea and cakes totally homemade. It was a unique and unmatched experience, the price totally reasonable. At first I felt bad about hiring the tour but when I saw how they have the animals super well taken care of, they are strong dogs and you can tell they are full of love and affection. The minibus that picked us up was new and all the facilities were nice and quality including the Sami hut where we did the last tasting A 10 for the Tromsø team and for the company investing in quality
Very good experience. The team of the tour very professional, at all times they were watching us.
While in Finland and Norway, we enjoyed many arctic activities, but this was our favorite. We’re animal lovers and appreciate a thrill, and this offered both. The people were so kind and educated us on how to do the activity properly but also on how they (and more importantly, the pups!) prepare for it. Although it’s not ideal for children, we brought our 7-year-old and they made it safe and fun for all of us. There are lots of husky opps in the north, but this one appears to be one truly caring for the dogs. The dogs seem happy and are so eager to go for a fun run through the beautiful mountain side. I have no interest in a sport that gratifies me but at the same of the health and happiness of an animal, and these guys seem to do such an amazing job that both humans and pups are healthy and happy to be there.
This is a must do experience The dogs are so friendly and love cuddles be for you get good training on how the drive the sled and work the dogs The guides are so friendly and informative The drive is through beautiful snow covered scenery it’s a magical experience The refreshments following the sled were lovely in a big tent which had a fire and hot chocolate and cake - what more could you want All three of us loved the trip - highlight of our holiday - nature, animas, cake !!
