Chris had an easy way about him and an expansive knowledge of all things Amsterdam. History, culture, and art. Our family had an amazing experience.
Our trip with Gus was the best vacation experience our family has been on. Gus was kind, friendly and informative. We enjoy biking, but are not avid bikers. Gus made sure we were comfortable and safe, and also showed us the most amazing sights. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone.
The day started out with a heavy rain, but it ended up being an OK weather… The bike paths are very well maintained, safe and easy. The Dutch residential areas were cute and interesting and the countryside was beautiful. And our guide, Mark was extremely knowledgeable and eloquent. Highly recommend.
Thanks for this. A rainy start rarely lasts here and the riding is worth it, the Dutch cycle paths make the suburbs and countryside safe and easy for everyone. Mark will be pleased to hear this, he knows his subject and loves sharing it. Thanks for the recommendation. Ashton
Great ride and super fun. Rinse was great guide and handled our interesting American group of people very well!
Thanks Joel. Rinse can read a group like few others and I am glad your American crew was in good hands. The ride out of the city centre shows you an Amsterdam most visitors miss. Come ride with us again. Ashton
Michael was a great tour guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the buildings throughout Amsterdam and was very inclusive in his tour. He was kind enough to go over the time limit a little bit to go over a couple other details that he thought that our group would like. He was especially good for our family of 5 and was very experienced in both the history of Amsterdam and the artwork as well. He did a wonderful job customizing the trip around specific foods that we wanted to eat and other restaurants in general. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we (my family and I) throughly enjoyed our time with Michael.
Thanks Ethan. Customising the route around what a family actually wants, food stops included, is guiding done right, and Michael giving your group a little extra time does not surprise me. I will make sure he sees this. Enjoy the rest of your travels. Ashton
I had booked a bike tour because a friend canceled on me. What can I say, having Sophia guide me through amsterdam was the BEST experience I didn’t know I ever needed. Sophia is kind, Sophia knows a LOT and Sophia manages to keep everyone in such a good mood, every second of the tour. I’ve done a lot of bike tours throughout different cities but this one with Sophia was by FAR the best one. Thanks again, Sophia. You’re the best!
Thanks Adrian. A cancelled plan turning into the best tour of the trip is the kind of story we love. Sophia's warmth and knowledge carry a group, and solo riders most of all. I will make sure she reads this. Come ride with us again. Ashton
Rinse was a great guide from start to finish! Very knowledgeable and helpful to all! Answered any and all questions! Even had a couple poems!😀
Thanks David. Rinse is the only guide I know who brings poems to the Dutch countryside, and they land every time. Glad he took good care of the group. See you at A-Bike next time. Ashton
Rissa was awesome! Very friendly and knowledgeable, we had a great experience n
Thanks Abby. Rissa's mix of warmth and knowledge sets the tone for a good ride. Glad you had a great one. Come ride with us again. Ashton
Very enjoyable experience and Rissa was great and informative.
Thanks Thomas. Glad the ride delivered, Rissa keeps it informative without ever making it a lecture. See you next time in Amsterdam. Ashton
Amazing experience. We went on our last day in Amsterdam, and even though we walked a lot every day, our guide took us through areas that we hadn’t seen. Our tour guide was Reesa, she was a great guide, knew a lot about history, was very alert while our group of 7 was riding through the city, and was very kind. Definitely recommend the tour and Reesa as your tour guide!
Thanks for this. Finding streets you had not seen after days of walking is exactly what a bike tour is for. Rissa reads the city and her group at the same time, and I am glad you felt that care. I will pass this on to her. Ashton
