Our guide Manford was very knowledgeable, professional, and personal. He was also very helpful and friendly!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Day in Austria – Thank You, Manfred! Our private tour with Salzburg Private Tours was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, everything was seamless and perfectly planned. Manfred was an incredible guide — friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing the beauty of Austria and Bavaria. What made the day so special was how Manfred carefully curated our entire itinerary based on our interests. He really took the time to understand what we liked and customized the experience perfectly — from scenic viewpoints and charming villages to hidden local spots we would have never found on our own. We visited highlights like Hitler’s home and the Eagle’s Nest, but what we’ll remember most are the personal touches and stories Manfred shared along the way. The car was spotless and comfortable, and we never felt rushed — just relaxed and able to truly enjoy every moment. If you’re visiting Salzburg and want to explore the best of Austria and Bavaria at your own pace, don’t hesitate to book a private tour with Manfred. It was the highlight of our trip!
When Patrick, our guide, got out of a brand new Audi & greeted us, my 1st thought was "how is this 20 something year old Austrian kid going to inform this 61 year old man and his wife about things we've studied for years." Never judge a book by its cover because our day with him was absolutely perfect. Patrick is a brilliant young man who guided us on one of the best tours we've ever been on. He even went beyond expectations and took us to Sound of Music locations our Panoramic Tour failed to do the day before. His English is flawless and it's a day I'll never forget.
Lena was exceptional! She guided us everywhere and even went all the.way to Eagles Nest and explained everything in depth. She made the trip wonderful. Her attention to detail was perfect. The restaurant we ate at in Berchtesgaden had a. Beautiful view and wonderful food. Can’t say enough wonderful things about the whole day. Well worth the money we spent on this trip. In fact, it has by far exceeded our expectations. Thank you TripAdvisor for recommending this tour company. It was THE HIGHLIGHT of Salzburg!!!!
Wonderful time with our driver and tour guide. Took the stress out of driving, got to see some unique things that otherwise wouldn’t have, and had great views at the perfect lunch spot. Thank you!
I can't say enough good things about this experience. This is run by a father-son team who are both very fun and very knowledgeable. We were a group of 5 ranging in age from 10-80 so it was hard to find things that everyone loved. This trip was a winner for all! My kids especially loved the salt mine tour with the slides, and the views from Eagle's Nest are amazing. The guides picked a great spot for us to have lunch as well. Overall, this was a highlight of our trip!
This tour is led by an amazing father-son team who are both fun and knowledgeable. We were a group of 5 ranging in age from 10-80 so it’s hard to find an activity that pleases all, but this one did! The salt mine was a highlight for the kids, especially riding the slides. The tour of Eagle’s Nest is also worth the trip - the views are amazing. Patrick and Manfred were able to point out and explain so many details along the way, the mountains in the famous Sound of Music scenes. Their personality and expertise really made the day great. I’d go on any tour that they were leading.
We had an amazing tour with Manfred. Highly recommend. He took care of us from the start to the end. Great for Eagles Nest!
Our day trip with Manfred was fabulous. We were only in Salzburg for 1.5 days so we needed a tour that covered a lot! We were able to see the beauty of the mountains along with some history. Manfred drove us through some of the most beautiful areas throughout the day. The salt mine tour was fun and informative! We had lunch overlooking the town of Berchtesgaden and the mountains. Gorgeous! Following that, we were able to see the site of Hitler’s main home in Obersalzberg and then Eagles Nest. Manfred is extremely knowledgeable in the history. We learned so many things we did not know before. I would 100% recommend this tour with Manfred as your guide! He also gave us lots of tips and restaurant recommendations for the city of Salzberg. Thank you, Manfred!
We really enjoyed our trip. We were bummed that the eagles nest was closed due to snow but appreciated the additional tour options offered by Gabby. It was a very nice tour.
