Une fois la visite audio terminée, vous pouvez continuer à prendre des photos et à explorer l'île, ou vous pouvez redescendre à l'atterrissage du traversier et embarquer sur le prochain ferry pour rentrer à San Francisco. Great tour! Very informative and interesting. Very popular and busy, as it was very challenging to book three tickets. Very happy we did it.
Last minute tickets great except for having to pick up physical tickets from address 2 hrs before trip in central SF which not at all close to the harbour. This wasn’t clear at purchase information and as we were not staying in SF was very inconvenient. Should really be able to have tickets emailed/ messaged. Highly recommend Alcatraz itself which was awesome!
Great experience. We enjoyed the Alcatraz tour. This operator saved our vacation because are previous reservation was canceled . The views on the ferry ride are amazing and the audio was so interesting. Definitely something everyone should do while visiting San Francisco.
This company does not sell tickets. They sell vouchers which you use to then get you tickets. The pick up location guy is very nice and informative. The pick up location is 15 car ride from the boat pier. The pick location had a lot of homeless / drug users nearby. Not good for kids to see. .
Not sure what to say here. The actual Alcatraz tour was good. You sometimes have to wait a bit for a boat back so allocate time. We then did the boat tour after around the bay for an hour which was also good. Difficult to hear the commentary on the boat but great to go under the Golden Gate Bridge. My problem here was that we booked a 1:05 pm Alcatraz boat tour. Even though we got online tickets you DO have to turn up to the address on Post Street to get the ‘actual tickets’. They don’t make this clear! Also when the guy gave me by boat ticket it said 1:35pm. I mentioned this - he said I’d be on the 1:05 boat. He lied! We could only board the 1:35pm and took an expensive Uber to the pier to accommodate the earlier time. We didn’t get what we booked. At the pier they won’t make changes since we booked through a ‘third party - Trip Advisor’ so you were stuck. We had to rearrange our evening plans. I’ve booked with Trip Advisor all over the world but this one left a sour taste since the tickets not explained well and they changed but confirmed tour time.

You had to pick up the tickets 2 hours before the start at a completely different location in the middle of the city. Finding the piers was not that easy, especially for the second boat trip. The trips themselves were good.
Alcatraz Tours and Blue and Gold Fleet were quality operators. Our Alcatraz tour experience exceeded expectations and our nay cruise to the Golden Gate Bridge was so much fun. Alcatraz Bikes and Tours could have provided better instructions and pre-tour instructions. Their directions were not clear and were difficult to follow. My family and I almost missed our boat to Alcatraz as a result.
