4h Butchart Gardens et Victoria City Private Tour

Although the tour is billed as a tour of Butchardt Gardens, the cost did not include entry into the Gardens, which cost over C$400. That information should be included in the tour description. Otherwise, the tour was wonderful.

Ken was a very nice guide and shared lots of interesting info on the to and back from the gardens.

The gardens are stunning. Spend at least 90 minutes there. Great photo opportunities. Get the soft serve ice cream.

We had a great time with John on our private evening tour in Victoria! We had a group of 10, and the van was fantastic. It can hold up to 19 people, so with just 10 of us, there was plenty of room to spread out and relax. The van was very comfortable, and the price was really reasonable — only $660 for our whole group, plus the admission to Butchart Gardens. John gave us a beautiful drive up the coast on the way to Butchart Gardens, which took about 40 minutes. When we arrived, he walked in with us and gave us a quick overview of the gardens and helped us get oriented. We were originally supposed to have an hour and a half at Butchart Gardens, but our group decided we’d rather have more time to explore Victoria. An hour was actually plenty of time for us to see the gardens, and John was very flexible and worked with what our group wanted to do. John was friendly, easygoing, and very accommodating. We really enjoyed having a private tour instead of being on a big bus with a large group. Everything went smoothly, and it was a great way to see some of the area. We would definitely recommend John and would happily book another tour with him!

We would have booked another tour if we knew about the air show that made us sit in traffic most of the tour. Apparently, they do not care to make tourists aware of any events that would arise that would interfere with their tour. And they blame the customer and won’t issue partial refund. Will never use them again to book a tour.

Ken was our private driver and he was amazing! He was quite knowledgeable about all things Victoria!

Ken met us at the cruise pier, so convenient. The car was very comfortable. We headed to the gardens and arrived before the crowds (including large groups of our shipmates on a cruise line tour). An amazing place. On the way Ken entertained and educated us about Victoria, including some interesting pics of notable people. After enjoying the incredible gardens we drove around to see several places and got a sense of this beautiful city. There were two events going on that involved road closures. Ken adjusted our itinerary and we had a very good tour.

Nice tour for the limited time we had in port. Butchart Gardens was fabulous. John was very knowledgeable and kept the interest of my 3 teenage grandsons.

Victoria Coastal Tours was an excellent addition to our cruise itinerary. Considering the value... price per person combined with the quality of the tour and the guide. This was a total winner for us. We had a 12 person group with multiple generations (ages 15 to 98) and 2 family members requiring mobility assistance. Ken, our guide, handled us with great care, including breakdown and setup of a scooter and wheelchair and a clear desire to be a gracious host and careful driver. One of the added surprises was a video screen in the Sprinter van and PPT-style presentation which added visuals to his thoughtful narration of the drive to gardens about the city of Victoria. The gardens were beautiful, even more than expected. Another unexpected treat was a stop at a vista which allowed a 360 degree panoramic view of Victoria and the surrounding areas. A highlight of our day in Victoria. I would recommend his company to anyone as he made us feel like we were with an old friend. Great job Ken, many thanks and best of luck. We can't wait to get back to Victoria.

We had an amazing 4-hour private tour in Victoria with our group of 9 during our cruise stop. It was the perfect way to see the highlights of the city without feeling rushed. Our tour guides were Chris and John, and they made the experience truly memorable. The tour was very well organized. We visited the beautiful Butchart Gardens, which was definitely the highlight of the day. The gardens were stunning, peaceful, and full of beautiful flowers and scenery. We had enough time to walk around, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere. After Butchart Gardens, we explored Victoria’s local highlights, including the Inner Harbour, Parliament Buildings, the tallest totem in the world and the Empress Hotel. The views were beautiful, and Chris and John shared many interesting stories about the history, culture, and landmarks of Victoria. They even showed us pictures to help us better understand the places we were visiting, which made the tour much more engaging and educational. For a group of 9, having a private tour made a big difference. The pace was comfortable, transportation was convenient, and we didn’t waste time waiting for a large group. Chris and John were friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend this tour for families, cruise passengers, or anyone visiting Victoria for a short time. It was one of the best ways to experience this beautiful city in just a few hours!
