Le parc national d'Ujung Kulon, situé dans la province de Banten, à l'extrême sud-ouest de l'île très peuplée de Java, possède la meilleure et la plus vaste forêt de plaine restante sur l'île. Situé à environ 300 km de la capitale Jakarta et à 140 km de Serang. Le parc national s'étend sur la péninsule d'Ujung Kulon, Peucang, les îles Handeuleum et les montagnes. Les rhinocéros de Java sont connus comme les plus grands animaux de Java et les deuxièmes plus grands animaux d'Indonésie après les éléphants d'Asie, Rhino a mis en danger sa population. Outre le rhinocéros, le parc national d'Ujung Kulon abrite des animaux sauvages spéciaux que vous pouvez voir dans les expériences. Le parc national d'Ujung Kulon, l'un des groupes d'îles volcaniques de Krakatoa à Lampung Sumatera, et le programme de visites à Ujung Kulon est préférable de prendre un voyage plus long pour prendre des activités, la chance de visiter le trek dans la jungle, le canoë sur la rivière sauvage et l'observation des oiseaux, pas seulement ça vous pouvez nager, faire de la plongée avec tuba, de la plage, des croisières au coucher du soleil.

A very unique trip. Yeah, great. Full program so don't go if you want to relax. Up early every day. Not touristy. Vooe parts and disadvantages rainy season: Not too hot. Few to no mosquitoes. No other insects. However, more active and more land inward crocodiles, so canoeing did not take place and only 1 of the 5 snorkeling spots. All clothing became damp or wet and did not dry. Monkeys are bold and can open doors, but that's also a sign that it's really in nature. Clownfish, peacocks, buffalo, monkeys, roe deer, osprey/birds of prey and komodo dragon seen. Definitely recommended.

While we did not see any rhinos, which is nearly impossible as they are probably no more than 70 left on the whole peninsula, we had an amazing time nonetheless. We stayed on Peucang Island in a bamboo hut directly on the beach, saw dozens of deer, long-tail macaques, wild Javan bulls, flying foxes (bats), Varans, all kinds of birds including eagles and hornbills, a few sea turtles, huge cuttlefish and wonderful coral reefs with all the fish that live there. Our guide, Hendi, and the boat crew were amazing and gave us some privacy (we were alone on the boat with the crew so this really is as private as it gets) while also providing explanations, tours though the jungle and some of the best food we had in Indonesia so far! While the tour is quite expensive, absolutely everything (transport from and back to Jakarta, boat with crew, guide, 8 meals, 2 nights, all activities) is included. We really recommend this if you have a few days left when getting to Jakarta!
