Wow! Everyone that was associated with this hop on hop off was rude. Signs are not helpful. Staff is not helpful. When you ask a question you just get yelled at. It was really stressful! You don’t get a physical ticket so have to pull up bar code on phone every time you board only to get yelled at! Website says they are pushing operations when you send an email as instructed , an AI answer comes back and is not helpful!
I find a sightseeing bus a convenient way to get a picture of a new city. That's why I used the red bus in Riga. This has 2 routes, which are driven consecutively in low season and take almost 2 hours together. I already got a nice impression of the city and then continued exploring on my own.
We wasted our money because we couldn't find the bus. Then bus driver had some problems. We had to transfer the bus.we hardly enjoy your tour for less than 1 hour.
excellent bus tour , which shows the highlights of the lovely city of Riga. Highly recommended tour to do.
Stops are not clearly marked, we waited for a bus at the place we had been dropped off, eventually we called a taxi as we wasn't sure it was even a bus stop. Riga is small you can easily walk around and see everything without having to get a bus
NOTHING Waited to collect tickets for 45 min in freezing weather .Returned to hotel and phoned to find out no bus trips run on the day we booked and paid for .i now expect a full refund thank you Bo.oking ref BR-1192788295
Stood for ages in the cold at the location given to redeem tickets on the Viator app as advised. Found out this is completely the wrong place to be and missed the bus. The guy in the main square was rude and just told us he has nothing to do with internet bookings. This is a really difficult trip to navigate. So t bother booking online.
Nice overall look at the city for people spending only one day there. Good historical explanations also
We are used to discover a city with this kind of bus because it allows to have a comment in French. what disappointed us is the schedule "high season"!!; We took the 1st bus at 9:45. The tour lasts about 1 hour. Which we did fortunately. According to the brochure in "high season" (we are in August) there is a bus every 30 minutes (sometimes 10 min late). First bad surprise we waited more than an hour to catch the bus (after our visit to the Cathedral of the Nativity). What a waste of time to visit. We finally got a bus at 3:40. Arriving at the Check-out point at 4pm, the driver told us it was the last lap. The last round starts at 14:45 and ends at 16:00!! This is the first time that such a tour is done between 9.45am and 4pm, in the other cities tested (Brussels, Dublin, Oxford..) the last tour is at 6pm. Really disappointing. Even if it is cheaper than in the other islands, it is not worth the Award given.
The bus tour and narration of the city was informative. The city was in the midst of setting up for a festival but even with the closed streets and heavy traffic on the route the ride good. Well worth the money.
