From start to finish, everyone was fantastic. I appreciated how quick Carolina was to answer our questions about logistics, even the morning of. The hotel selected for the refresher course was a delightful experience, I loved the jungle pathway to the pool connected to the marina. It was beyond what we expected. The refresher course was easy to understand and left us feeling well equipped. While one individual in the overall group made it through the fresher course, she didn’t feel up to diving at the time to of the first dive. Fortunately we still were able to experience both of our dives and she was supported by the crew to still have a relaxing day out on the ocean. We weren’t sure what to expect with the museum, but the coral and ocean life inhabiting it was amazing. We saw everything we wanted to see including multiple schools of fish, countless lobsters, beautiful coral, and even a sea turtle. As someone interested in pursuing their full certification, this company would definitely be worthwhile to facilitate that experience. 10/10!

We had a small group, each person had an individual equipment assigned, no waiting, no rushing, two long (20 minutes) dives at each location (a living reef and an underwater museum), where I saw the most beautiful and various sea life. We purchased amazing gopro videos and photos for extra money. Before departure we also had a training at a pool where all safety instructions were properly explained to my partner who had the first diving experience. We want to return there soonish. The small boat had no washroom though.

We arrived a bit early and was greeted by Carolina and then Marin came and explained how the scuba equipment worked. He was very thorough and we practiced in the hotel pool for approximately 30 mins before leaving on the boat to go to our first dive site. Unfortunately my husband couldn’t join us on the dive but he wasn’t left out and he snorkelled while I followed Marin and had two amazing dives where I saw sharks, puffa fish, stingrays, and the most beautiful coloured fish. He was very patient with me and explained things very well. I would 100% recommend this activity and Marin is a great teacher.

A must do if your in Cancún!! We had a blast!! 10/10

Marin was kind, patient, and exceptionally thorough in explaining everything throughout the tour. He paid close attention to every member of our group and consistently prioritized safety, demonstrating both professionalism and extensive experience as an instructor. Thanks to his guidance, both of our families — a total of eight people — had an outstanding and highly satisfying experience.

Wonderful! Malin was our dive master and he was so funny and he’s such a nice guy.

I went as a solo guy. The explanations at the beginning are fast and there’s a lot of them but they summarize the most important parts for you. They then give you ample time to prepare in the pool. Going out the water and the reef are amazing, just remember to breath slow to conserve oxygen, not because you’re gonna drown but because running low cuts the fun short! You may end up in a group with more experienced divers, as well, you’ll all be doing the same thing which is helpful to see people who know what they’re doing

Our family (2 adults and 2kids) had an absolutely incredible experience here! We did the Open Water Discovery course, which included a pool session and two ocean dives. The instructors were exceptionally patient and professional, making sure our kids felt safe and comfortable every step of the way. Exploring the Cancun reefs for the first time was magical, and the team’s passion for the ocean really rubbed off on us. We loved it so much that we’ve decided to complete our full certification back home! If you're looking for a safe, fun, and professional diving center in Cancun, look no further. This was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommended for families!

This was an amazing experience! The instructor was fantastic, super competent, kind and funny it was a pleasure spending the morning with him. This was only my second time scuba diving and he made me feel confident and safe. The pool instruction was great and then we went on a boat with other groups to two dive sights. The experience of being underwater in the most beautiful coral reef was just indescribable. If you’re at all interested, please try this experience in particular with A’ Ha’ Scuba as they were fantastic. The photos I got were also amazing and I was in a super small group, only three of us, so it was fun bonding with the others and sharing an awesome experience. My only advice would be to take some Dramamine if you get sea sick as the sea was pretty rocky. Otherwise, don’t miss out if this is something you’ve been wanting to try, this is the perfect beginner experience! Thank you so much A’ Ha’!
