Yogyakarta : Borobudur Top Access & Selogriyo Rice Terrace Tour

Nice excursion. Few people which allowed us to fully enjoy these sumptuous landscapes and ask all the questions we wanted to which our guide answered with patience and kindness.

Beautiful day organized by Wahyu agency accompanied by our Lutfi and Bruri Guide as driver to visit Borobudur and one of the most beautiful rice terraces of our stay (after Bali). It was a magical day with an exceptional temple and an immersion in a beautiful countryside, with a beautiful village in the heart of the rice fields.

We had a very exciting day tour at Serogriyo Rice Terrace and Temple. The hike was easy, with a paved trail leading up to the temple, winding through the rice terraces. It also wasn’t a touristy place at all, which made it even more special. Our second stop of the day was at Candirejo Village. There, we took a guided bike tour through the village, accompanied by a local guide. We stopped at several villagers' homes to see how they prepare tempeh and cassava chips, and how they weave various items—like sandals—using dried pandan leaves. We even had the chance to try playing traditional Indonesian instruments that are part of a gamelan ensemble. Our driver, Iskander, was fantastic—attentive, helpful, and very accommodating. I definitely recommend this day tour!

Incredible temple! We made the tour at 3:30 pm with the climb accompanied by a very friendly and very interesting local guide. Not many people. Everything is very well organized. We have been guided before with our French speaking guide Anita and Sunar our driver of the Wahyu travel Indonesia team. Listening people and incredible kindness. Come on, it's definitely worth it!

Wayun and his Tuor were fantastic, I could not ask for better! The price is nothing compared to the experience. I recommend it to anyone especially solo travelers like me. With wahyun I did the rice terrace, the waterfall and took me to see how the batik are made. An authentic experience

I joined Wahyu Travel in Dec 2024. Mr. Wahyu is a very kind person and he serves a private tour. I am a solo travel and I like this tour because it is one and one, just me and Mr. Wahyu as the guide. I actually joined two separate tours, one day tour to Borobudur and Prambanan Temple; and the other tour to Selogriyo and waterfall. The tour to Borobudur and Prambanan is a must because they are beautiful temples. This is the second visit for me. The tour to Selogriyo is a tour to visit a temple on the top of the hill by passing rice terraces. If you like hiking and walking through the hill, this is for you. If you don't like climbing, perhaps this is not for you. Also the months we visit play the roles as the beauty of the scenery depends on the season and the weather. When it is not rain, this is a good trip, which I had in the morning part of the day (but remember December is a rainy season). The second place we visited was to see the waterfall in the afternoon. Unfortunately, rains started falling on the way to get there and pouring hard when we arrived in the waterfall scene. Therefore, we could not see the beauty of the waterfall in this visit. Just remember, if you would like to visit, Summer (May, June, July) is a better time. December is the rainy season. Overall, these two days trip were full of memory. Again Mr. Wahyu is a very kind person. He speaks English, and French. Thank you, Mr. Wahyu.
