Comenzará a pasear por las casas coloniales y coloridas mientras conoce más sobre las principales plazas y baluartes que trazaron nuestro camino a la independencia. Visite la plaza y la iglesia de Santo Domingo, la catedral de Santa Catalina de Alejandría, entre otras de gran importancia cultural.
Después, te dirigirás al barrio de Getsemani, conocido por tener un espíritu bohemio. Sus calles y callejones lucen los colores y el espíritu animado, amistoso y carismático de los lugareños, que se reúnen en la puerta de sus casas y dan la bienvenida a todo el que pasa. Pasee por pintorescas obras de arte callejero a lo largo de algunas de las calles más importantes Calle de la Sierpe, Calle San Juan, Calle de la Media Luna, Calle Larga, entre otras. Podrás ver a algunos de los mejores autores de grafitis.

Our tour guide, Carlos was very respectful, understanding, informative, accommodating, welcoming and friendly. He spoke both English and Spanish which made learning about the city’s cultural and historic context much easier. This tour was a nice way to get some more information about the city and become more comfortable with it! I would definitely recommend doing this one specifically especially because of its affordable price.

Recommend this tour, Legaxy our guide was great and made the experience fun and he has a lot of knowledge and enthusiasm which helped us get through the 2.5 hour tour in the hot Cartagena sun! He made sure to have our breaks in the shade, we also got to do a mini dance lesson and try some snacks. All in all a great introduction to the history of Cartagena and Getsemaní and to orient yourself for the rest of the trip in the area.

Rafael took us on a very enjoyable and informative walk around the old centre and Getsemaní. He had a great way of communicating his knowledge of the history of the city, both for us as adults and our teenage daughters who also really enjoyed themselves.
