Itinerario
We begin at the Town Hall Square with an introduction to our route through the beautiful city of Granada.
Granada's most famous and dynamic square, its name comes from the Arabic Bib-Rambla: "the river gate."
Here we admire the main entrance of the majestic Granada Cathedral, appreciating the interesting iconography of its Baroque façade.
The emblematic Oficios street separates the Christian world with the Cathedral, the Royal Chapel and the Sagrario church on the other side, the Alcaicería which was the old souk. Here we find the Madraza, which was the first public university in Al Andalus; the building was later used as the town hall.
In the 16th century, it had nearly 200 shops. The name Arabic comes from Latin. When Emperor Justinian granted the Arabs the right to sell silk, they expressed their gratitude by calling all the bazaars al-Kaysar-ia, or "Caesar's place."
The Corral del Carbón is the only Arab market that has remained standing in the Iberian Peninsula since the 14th century. It is a public building intended to shelter merchants and their goods during major international markets.
A monumental sculpture by the artist Mariano Benlliure, it evokes the moment when Christopher Columbus made contact with the Catholic Monarchs during his expedition to America. It is located at the beginning of Gran Vía.
La Calderería is a small space in the lower Albayzín, full of bazaars reminiscent of the ancient Arab souks.
One of Granada's most iconic and visited sites, located in the Albaicín neighborhood. This viewpoint offers one of the most impressive views of the Alhambra, the iconic palace and fortress from the Nasrid era, as well as the city of Granada with the Sierra Nevada in the background.
The Puerta de las Pesas, located next to the current Plaza Larga, is one of the entrances that formed part of the wall that surrounded the Qadima Citadel.
An iconic location at the foot of the Nasrid walls in the heart of Sacromonte, with stunning views of the Valparaiso Valley.
The Sacromonte neighborhood is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's the first Roma neighborhood in Spain, boasting unique cave-house architecture.
Granada's Paseo de los Tristes is an iconic promenade, known for its views of the Alhambra and its name, which refers to the funeral processions that used to pass through there.
Considered one of the most beautiful streets in the world, it's lined with two small stone bridges that span the river and connect the Churra and Almanzora neighborhoods. And above, like a sentinel, the Alhambra.
Plaza Nueva is one of Granada's most typical postcard views, home to the Renaissance Royal Chancellery and the Mudejar church of Santa Ana.

Thank you so much for your feedback, Scott. We're glad you enjoyed the tour. Greetings
We couldn't get tickets on our own and hired this tour. We discovered interesting places within the walls of the Alhambra and then the continuous tour of the beautiful gardens of the Carmen de los Martires. Our guide with his explanations offered us a version of Granada that we did not know and we were pleasantly surprised.
Nos complace saber que nuestro producto cumplió con sus expectativas . Muchas gracias por su reseña.
