Itinerario

Nice city to see besides Siem Reap Cambodia. I really enjoyed the trip very much because I can see temple and mountains. This is a good place for people who are interested for nature.
Thanks
The tour company didn't contact me or respond to my messages sent through Viator so I was a bit unsure if it'll happen or not. But the guide was at my hotel on time on the day of the tour. The guide and the driver were good people and did all they could to make the tour enjoyable. The guide was really cool - he was the only guide of the 4 I met in Siem Reap who didn't actually ask for a review! Some facts about this private tour - the drive was more than 3 hours one way. Battambang wasn't pretty - it looked tired, the roads were bad, there was trash and a lot of flies. The Bamboo ride we took was a new experience. My heart was in my mouth when we crossed a road with no traffic light! But what could have been a great ride was ruined for me by the trash piles I saw on the way. Even the starting place wasn't particularly clean. We visited a few temples (I forget the names). Only the last one was impressive. Even there, they had people with disabilities and quite a few people sitting with bowls to collect money from the visitors. It's very common in temples but seeing severely disabled people makes me very sad and helpless and it's something I'd like to avoid when I'm on vacation. There were totally 4 stops in this tour. We left after 3pm and reached Siem Reap just before 7pm. I'd recommend this tour if you really want to visit Battambang. It's much better than traveling there and staying a night or two if you are not sure what to expect. There were quite a few tourists there, so maybe it appeals to some people but it really didn't work for me. But I'm glad I did the tour though. PS: When I chatted with Viator the day before the tour, they were very responsive and said they had conveyed my hotel location to the tour company and everything should be ok. In my experience, Viator is the only travel related company that's easily reachable and responsive and they always take action. When it comes to certain other sites like booking.com, as long as everything goes well, it's fine but if there's a problem, there's no way you can reach them. They also make it very clear that it's between you and the host and they don't want to be involved. But viator is very helpful. In one of my earlier trips (it was in Baku), they refunded me when the tour guide didn't show up. I don't know how long they can sustain this, but for now I'm thankful for them and I'll continue to book my day trips through them because I definitely see value.
Thanks you
