Tour por la ciudad de Siem Reap
Descripción
Este recorrido lo llevará a un recorrido histórico y cultural de la ciudad de Siem Reap. Verá los campos de exterminio de Wat Thmei, el museo de la guerra, un templo budista local. A las 8:00 am, saldremos y visitaremos el campo de exterminio de Wat Thmey, mostrando los cráneos de las víctimas del colorete jemer. Luego, continuamos al Museo de Guerra de Camboya, las colecciones de armamento durante la guerra civil de Camboya. También visitamos Wat Preah Prom Rath, Psar Chas y Artisan d’Angkor para ver el verdadero taller de artes Khmer.

Itinerario
Después del desayuno en su hotel, iremos a buscarlo alrededor de las 8 de la mañana. Vendremos y lo llevaremos en un tuk-tuk, taxi o minivan con aire acondicionado (según sus especificaciones o tamaño del grupo) y lo llevaremos a visitar la pagoda budista local llamada Wat Thmey. Aquí, verás los campos de exterminio de Siem Reap. Puedes aprender sobre las atrocidades que ocurrieron durante el brutal régimen Khmer Rouge.
Luego, iremos a visitar el Museo de la Guerra de Camboya. Puede aprender sobre la guerra civil y otros aspectos importantes de la historia reciente de los jemeres. Luego iremos a visitar otra pagoda budista en el centro de la ciudad llamada Wat Preah Prohm Rath.
Es un sitio histórico y culturalmente significativo ubicado en el corazón de la ciudad. Fue construido en 1904 durante el periodo del protectorado francés y sirve como residencia oficial para el rey camboyano cuando visita Siem Reap, aunque normalmente está desocupado la mayor parte del tiempo. También podrá visitar los Santuarios Sagrados, Preah Ang Chek y Preah Ang Chorm y el jardín real.
Wat Preah Prohm Roath, uno de los templos budistas más antiguos de la ciudad de Siem Reap, ofrece un retiro sereno a pocos pasos de la bulliciosa zona del Mercado Viejo. Este templo, que data de hace más de 500 años, tiene un profundo significado histórico y espiritual para los lugareños.
Luego lo llevaremos a visitar el Mercado Viejo (Psar Chas) para que pueda ver cómo la vida diaria de la gente local está haciendo sus negocios en un mercado local y hacer algunas compras de recuerdos.
Por último, te llevaremos a los populares Artesanos de Angkor para que veas cómo han revivido la artesanía local e incluso te compres uno o dos regalos.
