Chris Walker from Local Eyes Walking Tour was grand. He easily accommodated 3 feisty, crazy, old American women on a delightful 3.5 hour walking tour of the Royal Mile. We saw all the nooks and crannies and heard the ancient tales of folly and greatness. We recommend him to everyone who visits Edinburgh!
Our walking tour was incredible. Fiona was knowledgeable, friendly and flexible. She showed us parts of Edinburgh that we wouldn’t have known about on our own. We highly recommend Fiona and this walking tour to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

Emma and I booked a private tour and we were lucky enough to have Craig Goodman as our guide. Craig was not only friendly and witty, but supremely knowledgeable about Edinburgh’s history and architectural heritage. His stories were funny as well as informative. His energy was fantastic. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour/guide.
Dear Sightse Great thanks to you for your superb and glowing 5 Star Review of your Tour with our equally superb Guide, Craig Goodman! We are all delighted with your Review, as Craig will be as well. Wit and humour go well with hearing about the history of Edinburgh and makes for an even better all round experience! Best wishes Stuart U.
We had asked Stuart in advance if he knew anything about our Scottish ancestral heritage and he did not disappoint. He also was very informative about historical facts concerning the locations that we saw. In addition, it’s well worth the investment for suggestions about things to do and not do in Edinburgh.
Dear Mike M Many thanks for your top-notch Review of your Tour with me on on 24/4/26! I also very much enjoyed guiding you and your good lady around the city and highlighting many of your famous Scottish ancestors. You have Freskin De Moravia in the early 1100,s to thank for all the Murrays living Scotland today, including Bruce Murray, the 11th Duke of Atholl. Please do visit our city again because there are plenty other notable Murrays connected to both Edinburgh and Scotland at large. Best wishes Stuart U.
Our guide Stuart was very knowledgable and provided excellent information covering historical facts. Everywhere we went. Very enjoyable and well done. Thank you.
