Very nice but pricy and short trip
If you can, book your tickets early and directly from the Hungarian Parliament website. My daughter booked her tickets early directly through the official website and had no problems. I booked my tickets just a few days before being in Budapest and no tickets were available through the official website. I had no choice but to buy tickets through a third party reseller (TicketCompass) on TripAdvisor. The markup was substantial - $45 if purchased directly on the website, and I paid $78 through the reseller on TripAdvisor. The reseller provided NO additional services. The two "guides" that met 30+ people for the tour did not even go on the tour. They were just there for the check in process which was a disaster. It was needlessly disorganized, confusing, and took way too long. The actual tour of the Hungarian Parliament was wonderful.
Overpriced and very disappointing. Building IS beautiful, and audio tour was informative. BUT, it felt like could been done as a 15 minute photo op tour was stretched to 45 minutes to justify the high price. Then in the single most impressive part of the building architecture— you’re not allowed to take photos. Overall, very disappointing..
This is basically a ticket pickup. Just go direct to the site and book your own tickets. Not worth any premium. Overall the building is grand but not a must see.

Interesting visit but brief. Meeting point: indicate the entrance of the museum A bit expensive for what we see...

Very nice. We got 3 drinks. Options include juice, water, champagne. Air conditioner could run higher when we are having heat waves.

Parliament House is definitely worth seeing. It is a magnificent building. The audio tour was informative. However, the cost at over $100 per head was excessive for a tour which only lasted around 45 minutes. We were also unimpressed to arrive at the appointed time and being kept waiting on a hot day for the tour organiser to arrive. We felt that this was an example of demand pricing for a popular tourist attraction. Try booking directly on the official website but book well ahead.

I can't give you a very good review. I booked for a 9:30 tour. The e-mail message says, "Please arrive 30 minutes before the tour starts ... and the hostess will be waiting with a board with a name that is easy to find." But when I went 30 minutes before, there was no one there. A couple of those hostesses came, but they weren't TripAdvisor people. It wasn't until 15 minutes ago that another would-be hostess arrived. The A4 plate I had was nowhere with the word "Torippadvisor" on it, so I checked it here and finally found out. The tour time was running out and I was really in a hurry. It was only after 40 minutes that we were surprised again to be handed the tickets, and the tour was 9:45 in time. Of course the tour was great, but I can't appreciate the way the hostesses handled everything, including their attitude, leading up to the entrance.
