Fabulous evening with great food and service. Unfortunately due to the heat wave and energy saving measures, the buildings weren’t illuminated, our cruise was rescheduled 45 minutes earlier for us to get the full benefit of the beautiful Budapest sunset.
wonderful evening, food and service great. relaxing on the river, would do again,,,,,,,,,,,site makes it difficult to review
Negative experience; the cruise and dinner had been canceled, and the staff at the boarding area where we asked for explanations were rude and reluctant to provide explanations or apologize for the inconvenience caused.
Excellent experience. Super recommend. I would do as many times as possible. Very good and tasty food.
We had a great time with our meal, drinks and entertainment. The accommodations including the boat and staff are top notch. This is a romantic way to spend an evening in Budapest.
The service was very good, the food too, but in the vicinity of the Danube there are plagues of insects at night. The last part of the trip was not pleasant because of that. It is not the fault of the company or the crew, but we were wishing it would end.
We were informed that the time was moved earlier by 45 min. Only messages in the app rather than texted or called. We had no idea until we arrived at our appointed time that the cruise had left. Now they won’t refund us for the trip.
From start to finish, just the perfect dinner cruise. Where to start? The boat is amazing, completely open sides and overhead. The seats, table and glasses all feel like a great lounge restaurant. Then the food and drink. So many choices on the set menu that we struggled to decide. They all sound amazing, look beautiful and tasted outstanding. The wine was also great and served in lovely glasses. Last but by no means least, the staff were helpful and attentive in a head-spinning array of languages. No problems getting help or another glass when needed. The music, well this I could take or leave and occasionally it was a little loud for conversation but these are minor matters of taste. Genuinely impressed by Legenda, looking at the other cruises operating on the Danube they’re clearly head and shoulders above anything else on the water. If you’re on the fence about booking then I’d say spend the money and enjoy it, dinner cruises don’t get much better than what Legenda has put together here.
This was a wonderful to enjoy the evening lights of Budapest. The experience was much more upscale than expected. The ship was lovely, clean and beautifully set for a wonderful evening dinner. Food was very good and the piano player/singer was terrific and added so much to the sail. Would highly recommend was a way to so the city lights.
An amazing experience - the view and the boat itself. Although the waitress was efficient she looked exhausted (like she has done this 5 times on that day), got slightly irritated with our delay in choosing our food on the al a carte menu thus rushing us, serving the food without really connecting with our experience of awe. There is a difference between service satisfaction and service experience - maybe to focus on the difference in the crew training. But certainly a bucket list moment.
