Este tour está dirigido principalmente a quienes visitan Estambul por primera vez y ofrece una exploración completa de las joyas de la ciudad. Sirve como una excelente introducción a Estambul, ya que ofrece una visita más profunda a las atracciones históricas más importantes que las rutas turísticas habituales. Experimentarás un tour personalizado en el que podrás hacer preguntas y tendrás la oportunidad de descubrir joyas ocultas y comprender mejor la ciudad en esta experiencia de un día cuidadosamente diseñada. Como guía turística autorizada con siete años de experiencia, profesora de idiomas y candidata a doctora en filosofía del arte, estoy aquí para acompañarte en tu viaje a Estambul durante unas horas.

El Hipódromo, el estadio de la antigua Bizancio, tenía capacidad para 100.000 espectadores y presentaba objetos de todos los rincones del imperio. De ellos, han sobrevivido un obelisco egipcio y una escultura de bronce de tres serpientes entrelazadas de Delfos. El Hipódromo de Constantinopla fue un circo que fue el centro deportivo y social de Constantinopla, capital del Imperio Bizantino. Hoy en día es una plaza llamada Sultanahmet Meydanı, conocida internacionalmente como la Plaza del Sultán Ahmet y ubicada en el corazón de la histórica península de Estambul.
La Mezquita Azul de Estambul, también conocida por su nombre oficial, Mezquita del Sultán Ahmed (en turco: Sultán Ahmet Camii), es una mezquita imperial histórica de la era otomana ubicada en Estambul, Turquía. Fue construida entre 1609 y 1617 durante el gobierno de Ahmed I y hoy sigue siendo una mezquita en funcionamiento.
Sólo visita EXTERIOR. Debido a las nuevas regulaciones del Ministerio de Turismo, los guías turísticos no pueden dar explicaciones dentro de Hagia Sophia desde el 15 de enero de 2024. Y, además, ya no se pueden saltar las colas para los guías turísticos. Por eso nuestra visita a Hagia Sophia será sólo una explicación exterior. La Mezquita de Santa Sofía es una verdadera obra maestra de la arquitectura bizantina y un importante símbolo de la historia y la cultura. Es conocido por su Gran Cúpula Central, sus intrincados mosaicos y su delicada mampostería. La historia de Hagia Sophia se extiende por 1500 años. El monumento, que alguna vez fue iglesia, luego museo y ahora mezquita, ha sido testigo del ascenso y caída de varias dinastías.
Una escuela musulmana de 300 años de antigüedad. Este es el lugar donde tomaremos un té y hablaremos sobre el prolífico arquitecto de la era otomana. El lugar sirve como centro de algunas artesanías turcas donde se pueden ver algunos buenos ejemplos de estas artes.

Evite las colas. La entrada es de 2250 liras turcas por persona y no está incluida en el precio del tour. Para EVITAR la larga espera, por favor traiga efectivo (solo en liras turcas) Un depósito de agua data del siglo VI que tiene una espectacular muestra de arquitectura romana.

A great introduction to Istanbul covering most old town sights . Our guide Israfil was very knowledgeable and happy to tailor our experience. He also gave excellent tips on where to go next and where to eat. Thoroughly enjoyable and highly recommended.

İsrafil is a very good tour guide. His English is excellent and he is friendly, very knowledgeable and approachable. We joined him on a small group walking tour and visited the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and Spice Market.
Highly recommend this tour. Our guide was very educated and spoke excellent English. The tour itself was well paced, and the proper length of time. The information was interesting and digestible and provided unique historical context. We hit the major places in the historic center and the guide provided an excellent info packet for other places to visit during your stay. Please remember to bring cash for the cistern! Additionally, we stopped for coffee and tea at an outdoor restaurant that was also a hookah spot; so make a note if you are sensitive to smoke. Istanbul is very smoke friendly. Love this tour and so happy I went.
