Madrid tiene una escena de arte urbano genial. Viaja en el tiempo con Cooltourspain al comienzo del movimiento del graffiti y aprende cómo comenzó a desarrollarse. Comenzarás tu recorrido con una explicación de la historia, técnicas y artistas que pertenecen a este movimiento underground., Disfruta de una visita a las murallas de La Tabacalera, uno de los almacenes más famosos de Madrid. El tour te llevará por el barrio de Lavapiés, uno de los barrios más multiculturales de la ciudad. Lo descubrirás a través de su arte callejero político y social. Son varios los festivales de graffiti visitados como CALLE Lavapies, Muros Tabacalera o Urvanity art, que cuentan con las obras de Okudart, Ben Eine, Blu o El Rey de la Ruina. Encuentro a las 11.15 horas por la entrada del Teatro Valle Inclan (Calle de Valencia, 1). La estación de metro más cercana es Lavapies

We had a wonderful street art tour with Yago in Lavapies, learning much about the unique history and value to the community. Because we were there during the street art festival, we were able to see several artists working on their murals and talk to them about their technique and the meaning behind their art. Prior to this tour, I knew nothing about street art. Our guide Yago was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the street art. It is impossible to not develop an appreciation for the art form. We learned a lot within a short span of time and about Madrid itself. After walking around the neighborhood, we spray painted tote bags as mementos. Gracias Yago por ser un excelente guia!
