We were a group of 13 doing a transatlantic cruise with a stop in Alicante. we booked a private 1/2 day tour with Rebecca. ALthough the day was rainy, the scenery was beautiful. Rebecca was very knowledgeable and gave us great information about Guadalest and Alicante. The tour bus was new and comfortable and the driver Monica did a great job.Would highly recommend Rebecca and Ali Oli tours.
Took the tour from the Hotel. The tour lasted about 6 hours all told. We had one stop on the way. I took the optional visit to the motor cycle museum which was vey interesting. There is also a shop selling local produce and a Restaurant. Our guide was excellent Charlotte, was very knowledgeable about the area. We were offered a visit to the Three Museums at half price which I did and very much enjoyed. It is beautiful up in the mountains and the drive up there is amazing. Plenty of places to visit and there are several places to have a packed lunch.
Beautiful scenery in the mountains well worth the visit and also to the Museums particularly the dolls house museum which will surprise you. So clever and an absolute delight a must see.
We traveled for 18 days in Spain, France and Italy, doing a 10 day cruise and some travel on our own before and after. We did private tours almost every day. Our tour in Alacante was one of the best tours of the entire trip. Alberto was our driver/guide. He was great in every capacity—good driver, knowledgeable, great English, and very fun to be around. It was like hanging out with one of your friends for the day and them showing you around. He took us to the streets that had the charm and not the tourist traffic, gave us time to explore on our own and gave us pointers on what to do/see and told us the places to eat for good local food. He even bought us these sweet fruits that just came in season, so we could try them! The cost was very reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend.
Alberto our guide was very knowledgeable. The city tour, museum, and beautiful water fall stop was a highlight of our trip to spain.
