Linda Made Prague Come Alive! Totally Alive!! I had a wonderful semi-private tour of Prague with Linda, and she truly made the city come alive for me. We started at the magnificent Prague Castle high above the city and then slowly made our way down through the historic neighborhoods, across Charles Bridge, and eventually to the extraordinary Astronomical Clock. Linda didn’t simply point out landmarks—she told the stories behind them and helped us understand Prague’s history, architecture, culture and people. We stopped often, and the three hours felt relaxed and personal rather than like a scripted tour. I especially appreciated Linda’s local knowledge & warm personality. It was like a friend taking us on a tour of Prague. Along with the history, she shared recommendations for restaurants, local food and the best Czech beers, giving us a sense of Prague beyond just its famous sights. She was warm, engaging, knowledgeable and she paid attention to all four of us…making us feel included and welcome. The entire day was beautifully organized by White Alligator Tours. Balazs Csekö picked us up directly from our Vienna hotel in a spacious, immaculate Mercedes van and drove us to Prague. Along the way he pointed out interesting buildings and areas we passed. On our return to Vienna, instead of simply taking the highway again, he drove through small towns and villages so I could experience more of the countryside. The quality of this experience was especially noticeable because the previous day we had taken a tour to Budapest and Bratislava with another company, and it was miserable—crowded, an uncomfortable van, and one person struggling to do everything as both driver and guide. What a difference! With White Alligator, we had Balazs taking care of the journey and Linda dedicated entirely to showing us Prague. That made the experience personal, comfortable and infinitely more enjoyable. If you want to really experience Prague rather than simply see it, I will definitely recommend White Alligator Tours and Linda.

On July 12, 2026, we took the Historic Highlights of Prague tour booked through Hotel Elite. We were picked up at our hotel at 10:30 and escorted to Prague Castle, where our guide Linda met us and led the tour. The itinerary was well organized and thoughtfully paced: over the course of the day Linda pointed out roughly twenty of Prague’s most significant historic sites, weaving in engaging anecdotes and context that we never would have discovered on our own. The tour included a delightful lunch at a traditional Czech restaurant, followed by a relaxing boat trip on the Vltava that provided beautiful views of the city from the water. Linda is an exceptional guide—deeply knowledgeable about Prague’s history and culture, clear and informative in her explanations, and warm, friendly, and approachable in her manner. Her enthusiasm and professionalism made the experience memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and highly recommend choosing Linda for anyone who wants an informed, enjoyable introduction to Prague.
