I was expecting more Harvard History instead got a lot of student life stories. Also very disappointed we couldn’t go into any of the buildings
A perfect day touring Harvard with our wonderful and knowledgable guide, Ian. It was great hearing the story of such a prestigious institution, wandering the beautiful grounds, and taking in the extraordinary historic buildings. I particularly liked hearing Ian’s story about getting into Harvard and his experience as a student. Worthwhile if you're visiting Boston.
This was a very interesting tour. My friend chose this tour, and I was expecting a boring campus tour, but it was not. Our guide, Solidea, who is starting her senior year at Harvard in the fall, was so animated and entertaining as she explained the history and culture of Harvard while pointing out the landmarks. She had some funny and interesting stories mixed in with her personal experiences, and she was so lovely in answering our myriad questions about campus life. I really enjoyed this tour very much.
Excellent experience, led by current student. Make sure to go to the student run business for some merch at the end of the tour.
Wow - what an incredible experience. Worth every cent to see this place through the experience of an actual grad student of Harvard. It was informative, interesting, funny, and enlightening! I cannot right now recall the name of my guide but it was her inaugural tour and she was a Classics grad from San Diego with a really cool knitted water bottle holder. She was a really thoughtful and attentive young lady and it was a pleasure to listen to her speak and have her guide us round what is quite frankly STUNNING world site and a testament to the good of mankind. Having a proper guided tour was a complete no brainer compared to just aimlessly wandering round yourself with no information.
Lovely walking tour of Harvard Yard. Emily was fantastic. Knowledgeable and friendly we had a great time.
Cassandra showed us Harvard campus with her passion. Her knowledge about the place and its history, together with her personal story getting herself to the place, made it even more meaningful. Highly recommend.
Lani was so enthusiastic and made the tour fun even though it was very hot that day. Great mix of history and student lore.
Our guide Lani just graduated from Harvard last month, she presented Harvard’s history and architecture in detail, mixed with many alumni’s stories so that the buildings became alive as we walked through them. She also emphasized how Harvard continued to continue maintain a diversified and fun learning experience for all students. I graduated from Harvard 40 years ago, abd have been trying to keep in touch through alumni network, yet I still heard a few new stories about the educators and students from Lani, it was fun! She is an excellent tour guide! Thank you.
Great experience! Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke loud enough for all to hear. Really a quick must-do if in Boston!
