En esta excursión de un día, explorará la vibrante Medina de Marrakech junto a nuestro experto guía de la ciudad. A partir de la emblemática plaza Jamaa el Fna, te sumergirás en los principales lugares históricos de la ciudad, como la imponente mezquita de Koutoubia, el elegante Palacio de Bahía y la histórica Medrassa Ben Youssef. Pasea por la mezquita de Koutoubia con su imponente minarete, el más alto de Marrakech. Dentro de las murallas de la ciudad, ningún edificio puede ser más alto que la Koutoubia. El minarete es parte de la mezquita más grande de Marrakech, que se completó en 1199.
Tendrás que caminar para explorar Jemaa el Fna, la plaza principal de la medina y patrimonio de la humanidad por la UNESCO. Aunque ahora está lleno de artistas callejeros, encantadores de serpientes, comerciantes y puestos de zumo de naranja, cuando se creó en 1050, se usó para ejecuciones públicas, lo que quizás lleva a su nombre que se puede traducir como "reunión de la muerte".
Bahia Palace, un palacio de finales del siglo XIX construido para el gran visir y llamado así por su esposa favorita. Las habitaciones, ubicadas en un jardín de 2 acres, incluyen las habitaciones que albergaban su harén, una posición a menudo política.
La madraza es una antigua escuela islámica y la de Ben Youssef es la más grande de la región del Magreb. En este sitio histórico verá la hermosa arquitectura marroquí, desde los azulejos de Zellij hasta los tallados en yeso y estuco y la caligrafía, así como los hermosos trabajos en madera de cedro en los arcos y techos del sitio.

Mohammed was great starting from months before the tour until after the tour! He answered many of my questions before I arrive to help me prepare. He was prompt and very friendly. Mohamed is an amazing guide: knowledgeable, gives plenty of recommendations on where to shop and eat within the medina. The tour was very well timed and allowed plenty of time at each attraction as well as some time for breaks.

Mohamed took us to the best of the medina and we really enjoyed our time with him. Can’t recommend him highly enough. We felt reassured by his guidance deep within the souk, he was flexible with our requests and took us to a traditional coffee place as well as the usual sights.
