Overall, this was a good tour, especially thanks to our guide, Leo. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the history of Notre-Dame. That said, I was a bit disappointed that the tour focused primarily on the exterior, with a lot of time spent looking at pictures and discussing the cathedral rather than exploring the interior. If you’re hoping for an in-depth visit inside Notre-Dame, this may not be the best choice. Leo made the experience worthwhile, but I would have preferred more time inside the cathedral itself.
Elizabeth was an amazing guide. Her knowledge of the Notre Dame Cathedral was impressive and she was a delightful guide.

Tatiana was fabulous! Her pacing was perfect and her warm, kind attention to our group was welcomed by all. Timely showing of up close photos helped to enrich our appreciation of Notre Dame. So glad we booked this exterior tour!!

I didn’t feel it was clear on the booking that it was only an external visit and the first thing the guide said was ‘it’s an external trip’ so he’d obviously had the issue many times before That said he was very good, informative and fun guy
The tour guide was lovely, spoke very good English, and answered all of our questions. She was funny and very personable. Note that buying this tour does not, in any way, give you a tour of or access to the interior of Notre Dame. The tour guide will only walk you around the outside of Notre Dame.
The description of the tour is misleading. Everyone in our group thought we were getting an inside tour of Notre Dame, with a skip the line entry. We left the tour early since we had to meet our bus. We were afraid that we would miss the inside of Notre Dame. I hope Viator or who whoever the tour company is, rewrites the description to accurately describe what the tour included.
We're sorry you left early, but calling the tour "misleading" is simply false when the description clearly states exactly what the tour includes. The listing says, word for word: What's not included: Transportation Food and Drinks Skip the line access Access to Cathedral Towers This is the option you booked - Option 1: Guided Exterior Tour with Independent Interior Visit: Participate in a guided tour of the exterior with our expert guide, followed by independent access to the cathedral's interior. This is the description word to word copied from the listing. Please take the time to read the description before booking the tour. If you wanted the interior tour, we also have that option that you did not book. Making false claims is misleading to future travelers. Thank you.
This is a big rip off. Please read about this 'tour' carefully before you choose it. It is not a guided tour of Notre Dame - it is a tour of the outside of the building. You have no reservations or guided access to the inside. You have to wait in line for a very long time with everyone else. We met at 9am and were told to wait in the line to go into the cathedral and then meet back at 9:45 for the external tour. It took us over an hour to get inside the building so most of us missed the 9:45 post line-up call. Our guide was uninterested in our concerns. Everyone I spoke to felt it was a waste of time. Save yourself the money.
Thank you for your feedback. The tour option you booked is clearly described as an Exterior Guided Tour with Independent Interior Visit. We also explicitly state that skip-the-line access is not included in this option. Normally, the morning visit is smooth, but on this particular day, cathedral authorities restricted entry due to unusually large crowds. Unfortunately, that was completely outside our control. Our guides even waited longer than scheduled to accommodate as many guests as possible. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but calling the tour a "rip-off" is unfair when the experience was accurately described. We also issued you a full refund without you having to request one.
