Este es un tour privado solo para ti sobre nuestra mayor creencia católica mexicana caminando en el segundo recinto mariano más visitado del mundo ubicado en Tepeyac's Hill. La Basílica de Guadalupe alberga varios edificios, iglesias, capillas, un museo y varias esculturas. Visitaremos el reloj monumental, el primer templo, la antigua Basílica, la nueva Basílica, los jardines con pequeñas cascadas, la capilla en la cima de la colina y el pequeño templo de agua sagrada. La imagen original de la Virgen de Guadalupe se encuentra en la Basílica Nueva y esto es venerado por millones de creyentes. Harás tus oraciones frente a la Virgen de Guadalupe y recibirás las bendiciones con agua bendita. Puedes comprar artículos religiosos dentro de la Basílica. Volveremos al punto de encuentro en el metrobús.

Itinerario
El punto de encuentro está junto a la gran estatua del Papa Juan Pablo II. Visitaremos todo el complejo religioso: La nueva Basílica (donde se encuentra la tilma original y milagrosa de 1531), la Antigua y Primera Basílica, La zona santa donde la Virgen de Guadalupe se apareció a San Juan Diego en 1531 y donde se ubica la primera capilla que Guadalupe solicitó construir. Caminaremos arriba del cerro del Tepeyac (con pequeñas cascadas y jardines). En la parte superior visitaremos la capilla de las flores y tendrá una hermosa vista de la ciudad de México. Este es el lugar donde Juan Diego recordó las flores milagrosas en su manto. Visitaremos la escultura monumental llamada La Ofrenda con dos cascadas. Terminaremos nuestra visita con la pequeña capilla dedicada al Agua Santa. Tendrás la oportunidad de comprar cosas religiosas dentro del complejo religioso. Puede solicitarnos tiempo para escuchar misa.

The Basilica is a very large complex. We were so grateful to our guide Martin. He was very knowledgeable about the history, culture and religious heritage and genuine in effort to make sure we enjoyed our time there. We very much enjoyed our tour and he even helped translate our needs for shopping in the store and helped capture our experience with photos! It was fantastic!!

Lots of walking and worth it. There is more to see than meets the eye. Definitely recommend having a tour guide. Ours was wonderful! His name was Gabriel.

This company canceled my tour about 18 hours before it was scheduled to start and gave no specific reason. I had stayed an extra day on this trip to enjoy the tour having changed a plane reservation and added another night to my hotel stay.

Was a little apprehensive about the meeting point details of this tour as there are conflicting information. On several emails it specifically identified the an entrance just outside the Basilica (the one I used as the destination to our Uber ride) however there was also a mention of the Statue of Pope John-Paul II. Had to confirm via telephone that it was indeed in front of the statue. Our guide Diego was quite competent and was knowledgeable about the whole place. Since it was a Sunday he had to rearrange his normal routine to accommodate the thick crowds which worked out well.
