Frida Kahlo y Diego Rivera ayudaron a definir el modernismo mexicano. En esta gira, conoceremos la vida de dos de los artistas más emblemáticos e influyentes de México. Nuestra visita comienza en el Museo Frida Kahlo, también conocido como Casa Azul, su antigua casa y el lugar donde se crearon muchos de sus icónicos autorretratos. Tendremos una idea de cómo vivió y trabajó en este espacio ecléctico y profundamente personal. Rodeado de sus obras de arte, ropa, fotografías, nos conectaremos íntimamente con su historia. Luego, nos centraremos en Diego Rivera mientras tomamos un taxi hasta nuestra última parada: el Museo Estudio Diego Rivera, las casas y estudios gemelos de los artistas. En este entorno arquitectónico moderno, nuestro guía experto dará vida a los espacios, objetos y obras de arte, sumergiéndose en la fascinación de Diego por las culturas indígenas mexicanas, su legado artístico y el amor perdurable y la influencia compartida entre él y Frida.

Durante el recorrido visitaremos el Museo Frida Kahlo, su antigua morada y donde se crearon muchos de sus autorretratos. El edificio histórico es la antigua casa de la artista y donde se crearon muchos de sus autorretratos. Exploraremos sus espacios más íntimos, llenos de sus obras de arte, fotos, ropa e incluso corsés que usó como resultado de la polio infantil y un horrible accidente de autobús en 1925. Nuestro guía experto lo guiará por los encantadores patios y jardines de la artista. y fuentes y discutir las principales influencias en su trabajo: el trágico accidente, su personalidad, su identidad como mujer mexicana y, por supuesto, Diego.

Our tour guide Neene was awesome! You can tell she really loves art and architecture and led us around the houses with ease and great facts about Frida, Diego and Juan O’Gorman!! Highly recommend!!
The experience was very good, as it was the first time I visited the facilities of the Frida Kahlo museum, however, I urge the guide who accompanied us to continue, improving his English and delve a little more into Frida Kahlo’s personal artistic history.

Unfortunately, we took the address from the app to give our Uber driver and the address was incorrect and we had to pay additional cash to driver to take us to the Casa Azul correct address. Because of this, we arrived late and although our tour guide, Armando, was in communication and waited, we were told he would not have time to take us to Diego’s studio. In fact, we almost didn’t get into La Casa Azul!! Armando’s tour was great. He was informative and friendly. Unfortunately, we reached out to tour agent and could not be compensated for another day. She stated that the ticket voucher did state the correct address and wasn’t responsible for how the Viator app wrote out the address. This was going to be the highlight of the trip from NY.

Since you arrived after the tolerance period for late arrivals, we adjusted the tour to ensure you could still have a meaningful experience. Our guide, Armando, waited for you for an hour, going beyond our policy. He did all his best to ensure the museum administration allowed you entry after the official entrance time and customized the tour to make it as fulfilling as possible under the circumstances. However, as another tour with Armando was scheduled afterward, we were unable to extend the tour after its finishing time. We strive to provide great service and clear communication at every stage of the booking process. A friend and I took this tour on Tuesday, October 22. Wow. What a great tour. Our Guide Neene was the best imaginable - very knowledgeable of art and of the lives of Frida and Diego. We had many questions and she answered them all - patiently.
Neene was a fantastic tour guide for our party of 7. She was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to our group. She paced the tour to fit our schedule and that was appreciated, but at same time, we didn't feel like we missed anything. Highly recommend this tour.
