Este tour a pie de 3 horas explora los nueve acres de Princeville Botanical Gardens e incluye una degustación de chocolate gourmet de 50 minutos. Probarás chocolate de todo el mundo, al norte y al sur del ecuador. Verás nuestra plantación de cacao sagrado y aprenderás sobre la historia del cacao y cómo se procesa el chocolate mientras pruebas nuestro delicioso chocolate. Sus guías expertos compartirán historias del desarrollo de los jardines, así como una gran cantidad de información fascinante sobre las plantas, el chocolate y las islas hawaianas. Comience el recorrido explorando las terrazas superiores y los usos de las plantas que viven en el Valle de Waimea. Aquí, pruebe algunas semillas de chocolate crudo y aprenda cómo se cultiva y cosecha el chocolate. Cuando salga del Valle, diríjase a nuestra área de degustación de chocolate al aire libre, donde aprenderá sobre métodos de procesamiento de chocolate modernos e históricos. Probarás al menos 5 chocolates de origen único diferentes de todo el mundo. Después de relajarse a la sombra y disfrutar del chocolate, vuelva a ponerse de pie para explorar nuestro valle de Anini Creek, otro país de las maravillas de plantas raras, una topografía impresionante y fascinantes técnicas de cultivo sostenible.

Every experience is colored by the workers. This experience did not disappoint. The staff were all passionate about nature, plant life, and farming. Every explanation or answer to questions was thoughtful and obviously not rehearsed or memorized. Their excitement rubbed off on the group and we loved it. It really is not possible to describe the beauty of the gardens and the variety of vegetation we were introduced to while on this tour. Amazing really. Take the staff up on the offer of bug repellents (or bri g your own) because you will be deep in nature and that repellent will be an experience saver.

The property is absolutely stunning and the tour guides were so knowledgeable. They provided bug spray, clean bathrooms to use and walking sticks. The chocolate tasting was informative and of course delicious, as were the different fruits and honey you tasted along the tour. It really gave us such a unique way to appreciate plant life and our use of different plants.

Fun to walk around and see plants from all over the world. Nice activity for a day trip. Really enjoyed the chocolate specifically from the garden and trying all kind of different fruits as we walked.

I went with my husband and family. It was very informative, the chocolate and fruits were delicious!! The gardens were beautiful!! The walk was somewhat challenging for me (I have a physical disability - stroke) but I would think for an able bodied individual it would be fairly easy.

Great tour! Zoey was our guide. Very knowledgeable. Walked at a brisk pace. Most tours are too short, the 3 hours was just right. In addition to chocolate history, processing and tasting, there was also a little honey and coconut tasting too. A wonderful experience. A beautiful location. Very well organized, from the welcome and parking to the Goodbye.
