Travelled to Auschwitz from Wroclaw in a very comfortable car and stopped both ways in a shop to break up the journey. Our driver was very knowledgeable about local history too. Tour guide was fantastic on site. Such a worthwhile trip. Highly recommend.
Lukasz was our transfer driver today. He was brilliant. We were picked up on time. He drove so carefully that I fell, which I never do when someone else is driving. We had an early start and arrived in time to meet the others in the group. The organisation to get us into the tour was flawless. The tour guide was brilliant and very knowledgeable. He was happy to answer questions. On the way back we had a bit of a journey and we stopped off for a 15mins break. Lukasz told us of local places visit. We were dropped back at our hotel wished us a good visit to the area. I highly recommend booking
As a historian it has always been a bucket list item to go to Auschwitz, I had booked onto another tour who had cancelled a day before, luckily we got a call from this company who had a last minute slot open up. Jarek picked me up in a lovely car at around 5am and drove us all the way to Auschwitz. Although I was tired and didn’t feel like chatting with my fellow travellers, his playlist made the time fly. The tour itself was an incredibly moving experience and really highlighted the horrors of the camp but I will not discuss the camp itself as I feel that is something that cannot be put into words and should be experienced first hand. Jarek and the Day Tours company were so incredible, my mum had called weeks before about booking a trip but as a solo traveller they were unable to book me on, however the day before the trip when a spot opened up Jarek called my mum to let us know a spot had opened up and truly saved the trip. I feel that it was going above and beyond to not only find a space for me to be able to experience this but also to remember that phone call from 3 weeks ago was truly incredible customer service.
This was an unforgettable experience. I have read so much about the holocaust but to see what was actually done in horrifying.
Although it said pick up at hotel was not on the list they still arranged, seamless pick up and drop off. No queuing required, driver and guide were excellent
The trip was excellent. Collected from our hotel by Jarek, and driven to Auschwitz where we were met by our expert guide. The first part of the tour consists of a 2 hours guided tour, before a short break, and then a 5 minute drive to Birkenau, where we resume the tour for another hour. On completion we were driven back to our hotel. The tour itself is a very sombre experience, but the logistics of getting us to and from Auschwitz was very smooth.
What an unforgettable experience! Our driver, Jarek, was so friendly and informative. Highly recommend this trip, it really opened us up to the vastness of the camps and the unimaginable suffering of the prisoners. Very emotional experience but one you don’t want to miss out on.
Erik was a fantastic driver. He added an extra stop at a shop when we asked, gave us some nice history bits along the way and was very safe. I would recommend him for any future trip. The 3 hour drive didn’t seem so long with his great 80s play list. Auschwitz is a place I am glad I visited. I have no words to describe the evil it reveals.
It is very intense experience and our guide was perfect for the moment. I had so many misconceptions about Auschwitz-Birkenau and learned a lot.
Very happy we signed up for this trip. Everything was great, on time and we got see everything as advertised, No waiting in line.
