The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable! They had warm coats to borrow if we wanted to sit outside or a warm cabin inside. They took us to a site that had seals and explained about them. They found a large group of humpback whales and we sat and watched them for at least an hour! It was very exciting! The guides also were very passionate and knowledgable about the animals and area! It was well worth the money. I also loved that it was a family run company, which I did not know prior to booking.

We had a wonderful experience and saw lots of humpback whales lunge feeding. Derek, the nature guide was amazing—so full of information and willing to sit out with us and share his knowledge and experiences while we watched the whales. Captain Joe was great, too, taking us near the whales but not disturbing them. I recommend this trip!

Lili, Rod, Caio, and Derek made this trip fantastic. We spotted a Fin whale on our excursion and you could feel the excited energy from the team. That level of excitement really shows how much this crew cares about what they do! The crew was incredibly knowledgeable and had meaningful and interesting commentary throughout the tour. I’m an ecology student and a wildlife nerd and I had a blast learning more about the local marine life. I would highly recommend this company! I chose them because of their excellent reviews and emphasis on conservation/sustainability and I was not disappointed. The sunset was stunning and I had so much fun. Bring plenty of layers, as advised, as it gets pretty chilly at night! But the team also has a ton of extra layers available which is great :)

Very nice! We saw maybe 6 or 7 whales. Very fun. I got lots of videos and pics. The guide and captain were professional and friendly. Super Canadian. They gave us jackets and toques which was wonderful as it got cold on the ocean.

What an absolutely unforgettable experience! We were lucky enough to see at least 50 whales throughout the tour, including multiple humpbacks surrounding our boat at one point. It truly felt surreal and exceeded every expectation we had. A huge shoutout to Tilly, Lilly, Jared, and Sarah. They were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely passionate about marine life. They made everyone feel welcome, answered every question with enthusiasm, and shared so many fascinating facts that made the experience even more special. The crew clearly cares deeply about both their guests and the wildlife, making sure the whales were observed respectfully while giving us amazing views and plenty of time to soak it all in. If you’re in Victoria and considering a whale watching tour, I can’t recommend Eagle Wing Tours enough. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip, and we’ll be talking about it for years to come!

A unique experience shared with family. It was truly a magical moment! What a privilege to be able to experience this. The team was really great, and the boat is perfect, especially if the weather is not very good.

Great boat, FANTASTIC CREW, very knowledgeable and very accomodating. We didn't see Orca's that day, saw them 11 out of the previous 12 days, but they put us on humpbacks breaching for several hours. Would recommend them 100%. Derek, Lili, Jo, and Captian Rod were our crew. They provided information well above " look left and look right". Truely exciting and Informative trip. Our trip far exceeded any expectations we had. From check in at the harbour the staff were excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and truly loved their roles as ambassadors for whales and marine wildlife. The vessel was spacious and comfortable and in very good condition, with extras like binoculars, blankets, and outerwear for guests comfort. As well, snacks for a small donation. We had so many whale sightings and some up close encounters, which were unexpected and immensly thrilling. Guides were knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing and answering questions and often just as excited we were. I recommend Eagle Wing as my top marine tour company.
