The tour guide was animated and engaging. But, I saw no point in this being a walking tour. There were stopping points, but they had nothing to do with the story being told.
Very animated- good laughs. Very informative. Also had a lot of audience participation. Presenter kept our attention and made the tour fun.
I was hoping for more of a ghost tour instead of a crime tour. They was my mistake for not understanding the content but I found the stories boring. Then when they wanted to go down to Old Town I left the tour. After a full day of walking I did not want to have to hike back up hundreds of steps at 9:30 at night. Overall I was disappointed with this tour.
This is not a ghost tour! The tour guide is costumed as a ghost. It is a one way walking tour to the lowest level of Quebec City in the dark. At the end participants are left to find their way back to the top.
Great, really a must-do. Ideal for visiting Old Quebec while having a good time. Suitable for all ages. Valérie our guide made the experience very fun, we liked it a lot. Thank you for this pleasant evening.
It is still a long walk for people with knee, foot, or back pain. But it lets you see magnificent places and the most beautiful view of the Château Frontenac
Wast of time. Abandoned very far from starting point. Could barely understand guide. Would never do this again
It was very entertaining. It is a great deal of walking but it covered areas of the city I did not have a chance to see yet. Well done overview of the history of criminal punishments during British rule in Quebec City. Do not take your children if you do not want them to hear about criminal punishments.
A very fun evening with a charming ghostly guide. You will walk quite a bit and end up in the lower town - we caught the last funicular ride back to upper town. The stories were entertaining and the guide stayed in character throughout. Wear comfortable shoes and get ready for some role playing.
I recommend it for an intergenerational family but expect a lot of walking. The actress Marianne is excellent! We remember the stories that make us laugh and transport us to the past. You have to be comfortable walking in the old city, so walking, going up, going down, etc. I don't know if it's really necessary to do this whole route for an hour and a half, but otherwise it's very good. You see Quebec differently with stories of murders, executions, hangings, torture, drama, betrayal, prison, taverns, etc., so it's completely different from the more classic guided tours. It rounds out the day well, but the children were tired. No wheelchairs or people with reduced mobility. Actress Marianne 100% Wow! The best
