Old Québec es la ciudad más europea de América del Norte, y este tour pone sus sabores en el centro. A lo largo de cinco paradas a través de calles empedradas bordeadas de arquitectura de 400 años de antigüedad, se abrirá paso a través de siglos de cultura gastronómica quebequesa, desde comida rústica reconfortante hasta ingredientes locales refinados. Comenzarás con champiñones terrosos de melena de león y carpaccio de pechuga de pato, luego calentarás con el sagrado trío de cocina tradicional quebequesa : sopa de guisantes sedosos, paté chinois salado, y taffy de arce fresco. Una casa de 200 años sirve ñoquis hechos a mano bañados en cheddar, crema, chalota y vino blanco con un crumble de ajo negro. Una dulce parada te trae sucre a la crema y lo que muchos lugareños llaman el mejor croissant de la ciudad. Entonces cierras de la única manera que deberías: con poutine. Los domingos y lunes, la parada de ñoquis se cambia por un risotto de avena caliente coronado con una ensalada de camarones de roca. Los grupos se mantienen pequeños para que cada parada se sienta personal.

We had such a wonderful time on this food tour of Quebec City. The restaurants and food were amazing (even impressed our picky teenager) and our tour guide Anais was excellent! She was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much of the city’s history with us. Would recommend this tour to anyone in the area.

This was one of the best food tours I’ve taken. The tastings were wonderful and a great combination of traditional Quebec comfort foods and a few upscale stops. I plan on revisiting a couple during my stay. Our guide Maude was fantastic and sprinkled in entertaining bits of history between spots. I would definitely recommend this tour and go take it at the beginning of your trip.
