Margot was a lovely guide! As a sommelier and your guide, she had so much knowledge about Rhone valley wines.
Recognize that you have to pay for your lunch, though the info tells you that everything is covered. The guidance and the car as well as the choice of wine yards are top notch.
Kim does a fabulous job with both wine tasting descriptions and pointing out the sights long the way
Booked this wine tour as part of my family’s trip to France. Kim was our guide, she has extensive knowledge of wines from locals like cote rotie/condrieu/saint Joseph, taking us to wineries and showing us around nice small towns in the region (she is a very good driver!) The vehicle is pretty new and comfortable (some 8 seater Mercedes). Wineries we went were exceptional. I had some of my favourite wine (cote rotie esprit de blonde!!!) in this whole trip.
Kim was my guide and she was awesome. We did a couple tastings and ate a great lunch. The entire trip was great.
Excellent trip to the northern Rhône wine region! Kim gave a great tour, fun and informative. The wineries were small and family-run, the scenery was postcard-worthy, and the wines were outstanding. A really welcome addition to our few days in Lyon.
This was one of the best wine tours I’ve been on. We got to taste so many wines and learned so much about the region. Kim was an amazing host!Wonderful experience and look forward to future tours!
Had an amazing day in Northern Rhône with Eddy and a great group of people for the tour. Eddy really knows his stuff and has a very relaxed approach which made the day feel like you were cruising around with a mate. Really good pace to the day and the time flew by. I’d highly recons this tour to anyone looking to learn more about the Northern Rhône and a whole lot more about the wines of the region. The Cote Rôtie and Condrieu were 👌🏻 added bonus meeting one of the wine makers and visiting one of the vineyards.
It was a wonderful adventure to the Northern Rhone with our guide Eddie! Our group stopped at two wineries that provided sensational wine tastings and our lunch spot was homie and delicious. Eddie made the whole tour both fun and educational for all. Thank you again and cheers!
We departed from central Lyon for a 45 minute journey down the Rhone and into an extraordinary wine region. We started at a winery in the Côte Rotie AOC where we toured the facility and tasted through several delicious white wines, including Condrieu and then several reds, highlighted by two Côte Rotie. This was followed by a detour to a small 14th century village and then into a fun lunch in Condrieu. Our final winery stop included a vineyard tour and tasting of 6 fabulous wines expressing a different wine making style than the first stop. Our guide Eddy was very knowledgable of the area, the wineries, the winemakers and wine in general. He made it all very special.
