Thomas was an excellent guide and made our passage to Vienna via Bratislava a joy. He was very knowledgeable and the trip was great.
Enjoyed this well informed tour and english speaking guide. The car was comfortable and felt safe during our travels.
Thomas was the best!! He took his time with us to explore Bratislava and made sure to point out all sorts of fun facts and photo ops for our time in town. Since I did some research prior to the trip, he was able to guide our tour based on certain sites we wanted to see and made it a special moment for my mom and I. This is an experience we will never forget and it is all thanks to Thomas! If you are looking to do this tour, make sure to request him!
It worked so well for us to be picked up at our Airbnb in Budapest and delivered to the new Airbnb in Vienna. Then we did not have to figure out the train schedule. Along the way, he told us about the area. We stopped in Bratislava, an old town in Slovakia. The tour and buildings were very interesting, and we went a market and bought some food to take to our next destination in Vienna. He speaks good English and knows a lot of history.
First time traveling in this country and Edit was exceptional!! Was a pleasure to meet her and we learned so much! The weather started horribly but she pivoted and made sure we learned so much. The sun came out and we had a wonderful day!! Highly recommend Edit and this experience!
I wanted to make a memorable journey to my husband, so I chose this private transfer from Budapest to Vienna by adding a visit to Bratislava. It was not a long drive on the scenic countryside, around 2 hours. Our guide, Attila drove safely, the vehicle was very comfortable with enough space for all of our luggages. Attila was amazing, he took care of all our our extra wishes. He knows Bratislava and Vienna very well, we learned a lot, had so much fun together and we got to see many interesting places. Bratislava is a must, it is a really charming and lovely capital.
We recently took a tour with Attila from Budapest to Vienna, and it was an amazing experience! Attila greeted us warmly and made us feel excited about the trip. Our first stop was Bratislava. Attila shared interesting stories and facts about the city. He took us through the charming streets and showed us both famous sights and hidden gems that we wouldn't have found on our own. His love for the culture and history kept us engaged. The drive from Budapest to Vienna was smooth. Attila drove safely and comfortably. When we arrived in Vienna, we felt like we had learned a lot during our journey. Attila’s passion for his work and his friendly nature made a lasting impression on us. Overall, I highly recommend Attila for anyone wanting to explore this beautiful part of Europe. He turned our simple transfer into a fun adventure filled with learning and beautiful sights. Thank you, Attila, for such a great experience!
My friend and I went from Budapest to Vienna with Sidetrip Tours with a stop at Bratislava. However, we also made sidetrip tours to Szentendre, Esztergom and Gyor before stopping at Bratislava. I wanted to visit Gyor but didn't think we had the time. Were we ecstatic! Didn't know that was part of our itinerary! Didn't know about Szentendre, but happy to discover this quaint artistic village. Lots of little shops for shopaholic like us! Our guide, Csenge, was amazing. She communicated with me thru WhatsApp day before to tell me what to expect. And she was on time the following morning! An excellent driver and tour guide! I recommend Sidetrip Tours to everyone!
I made a last-minute booking for this tour when I realized I had a morning to spare, and I’m so happy I did! I received a message confirming my booking almost immediately, and the operator Susana was responsive throughout the whole process. I was a little wary at first about doing this tour on my own as a solo female traveller, but my tour guide Tom made me feel safe and well taken care of throughout. He tailored the itinerary in Bratislava according to what I wanted to do, shared lots of interesting information about the history of the region, and got me to Vienna International Airport right on time to get checked in for my flight. The journey was easy and comfortable, and I would definitely recommend doing this instead of braving the train station crowd to take the train!
First of all Csenge was late arriving due to traffic but she kept us updated via WhatsApp. She provided excellent commentary along the way. Answered all our questions. Was conscientious about bathroom breaks. Stopped at a traditional restaurant for lunch and helped us order. Was a great driver and carefully parked in some very tight spots. We were 2 couples only and the van was very comfortable. Due to road closures along Danube we had to go through the forest. A great day! Definitely better than the train because we made 4 sightseeing stops along the way. Ask for Csenge!
