Great tour very well organised
I wanted to go to Chan An, but I didn't want to go to Mua Caves because I was afraid of heights, so I took this tour which doesn't include Mua Caves. It was a very reasonable tour price, including transfer from the hotel and boat fare in Changan. It seems to have combined several tours: beyond Hoa Lu, we split into groups of Trần An and Tam Kỳc, and Mua Cave was also divided into groups of people who wanted to visit and the rest of the old town. I thought it was a larger bus, but it was comfortable with a smaller bus. I didn't expect much lunch because it wasn't very good on the other tours in Vietnam, but as the information on the tour said, the lunch was very good. Our guide Kate is from Ninh Binh and she knows the area and was a great and fun guide. As someone who participates alone, I was very grateful because they took care not to leave me by roll call properly each time. The boat tour was beautiful and wonderful, and it was a four-seater, probably four short course caves, but it was close to two hours. Towards the end, the people on the same tour were getting bored. Not because of the tour, but because I got a bit bored and I couldn't get home early at the unnecessary third spot even though I wasn't going to Mua Cave. The people who went to Mua Cave said it was great, so I think you can enjoy it if the heights are fine.
Great experience. Especially thanks to our amazing guide, Dũng, who made this day very enjoyable giving great explanation all along and bringing a very joyful energy to the team! Overall it was well organised, food was good, I recommend.
Walk and bike and boats and cave. Very good historic town. Caves are wonderful. Biking is refreshing
Good experience. The boat ride was pleasant and calm. This tour also included a free biking ride around the countryside.
If you’re staying in Ninh Binh I wouldn’t recommend this tour. Even though it states there is pick up the driver refused to do this, you end up meeting the group at a restaurant to start the tour at 10:30. The bike ride and temples were nice. The caves were really good, if I was to do this again I would just get a ticket for the caves. The food was average, lots of it thought. The way back you could go to the Mua caves but if you’re staying in Ninh Binh you need to make your own way back. The other option is to explore Ninh Binh, no guide just a walk around which again if you’re already staying in Ninh Binh it’s pointless as you can do this by yourself without paying for it. Overall a pretty disorganised day
Dear my Friend, Thanks so much for your feedback. Our tour start from Hanoi therefore if you are in ninh binh, you need to go meeting point. So please sympathize that we can not pick you up at your hotel in Ninh Binh.
What they sell, what they promise and what they provide is totally different. That pisses me off initially. Booked with them specifically to exclude MUA Cave, yet I was told by the guide we’re going to MUA Cave. Not the tour guide’s fault, it’s the organizer/company for misleading info. The guide (Victor) & driver were AMAZING! So full of energy, insightful, caring and just very fun to be around. Started off at Mua Cave, lunch, then a short cycling trip, Hoa Lu and then 2-3 hours on Trang An. Lots of physical activity 🤣 a little tiring but super fun!
Dear my Friend, Thanks so much for your review. Firstly we are so sorry that you are not really happy with our sale staff, she didnot give you clearly information about schedule. However after all we had offered free Mua cave ticket for you already. Shen is new staff, without good experience so we hoffully you can forgive ans sympathize for her. Thanks
A wonderful day trip. Although the itinerary was altered slightly it made no difference. Brian was a great guide, informative but didn't overdo it. It would have been nice to slow down on the bike ride for a few photo stops, so many great vistas. Bikes weren't terrific but did the hob. Lunch was pretty ordinary but there was plenty of it.
Nice experience. The tour guide also friendly and tell us the history of the place that we were going to. The tour guide can speak english fluently. Nice tour👍🏻
The trip was carefully organized with everything necessary to experience these locations. There are cost-cutting methods but to be expected at this price point.
