Praia do Forte es una playa brasileña ubicada en el distrito homónimo, en el municipio bahiano de Mata de São João, a unos 50 km de Salvador. Se puede llegar a ella por la bella y bien cuidada Estrada do Coco. Mucha historia natural de belleza mixta hace de Praia do Forte uno de los destinos más buscados en la costa norte de Bahía. Hay más de 12 km de playas, con varias piscinas naturales formadas por arrecifes a lo largo de la costa. Los cocoteros, la vegetación predominante en esta región, hacen que el aspecto sea aún mejor. Disfrutar de las playas y del hermoso paisaje te invita a relajarte. Una de las principales atracciones del lugar es visitar la sede de Projeto Tamar, una organización dedicada a la preservación y el estudio de las tortugas marinas.

They just didn't come pick up at the agreed time. I waited for an hour, no answer to WhatsApp and no answer to the phone. Total failure

A great way to add a day trip to your itinerary.Whilst the ride was around an hour or so, it's worth the destination at 2 stop overs
The tourist guide demonstrated excellent knowledge of the points visited, presenting the information in a clear, interesting and engaging way. He was always attentive, polite and willing to answer the group’s questions. His sympathy and enthusiasm made the tour much more enjoyable and enriching. In addition, organized everything with responsibility and punctuality.
Ariel was excellent! He gave us all the info we needed. TAMAR lived up to expectations. I thought after reading some reviews we'd find the conditions sad, on the contrary, everything is clean, well managed and gets you close.to these amazing creatures we must protect. The day was well planned and despite the windy, cloudy day we enjoyed hugely!
Guide Tiago very attentive, very nice tour but in the afternoon I found a lost time, they took us to a beach and to eat at a bar, it looked like a permuta. The tour would be more profitable if we left on the beach of the Forte and enjoying more of Project Tamar.
Fantastic experience, really good guide who could tell in Portuguese, Spanish and English. The beaches we visited were incredibly beautiful and the water was perfect for swimming. The turtle project was really exciting, and you got close to the turtles! This trip can be highly recommended!

The walk was very good. Spectacular landscapes. Very friendly guide, who spoke Portuguese and Spanish. Prey very efficient in schedules and planning.
We had a problem when Van came to pick us up. But I contacted the company and soon they resolved. It was quite calm, no stress. I really liked the walk. It's more comfortable and cheaper than renting a car from Salvador to go to Praia do Forte. I recommend
