Lo llevaremos por las murallas de la ciudad antigua de Constantinopla mientras nuestro guía le brindará toda la información histórica detrás de estas murallas. Las murallas de la ciudad de Estambul han sido testigos oculares de numerosos asedios, incursiones y acontecimientos. Pasarás por 2/3 de las atracciones históricas más importantes ubicadas cerca de las murallas de la ciudad. El primero es Seven Dungeons o el conocido nombre de Yedikule Fortress. La segunda es la iglesia de Chora con hermosos mosaicos bizantinos. Y el tercero es el último palacio de los emperadores bizantinos, el Palacio de Tekfur, y el último es la Cisterna oculta de Nakkaş. Un punto de referencia secreto en el centro de Estambul. Nuestro guía privado lo recogerá de su hotel con conductor y vehículo VIP. Luego, comenzará su recorrido conduciendo junto a casi 2 mil años de murallas antiguas de la ciudad de (Constantinopla) Estambul. (puede detenerse cuando desee junto a la muralla de la ciudad y subir a la muralla de la ciudad)
Pasarás por el Museo de la Fortaleza de Yedikule o llamado Siete Mazmorras, donde el primer sultán otomano ha sido estrangulado por su propio hombre y también encarcelado al cristiano real que ha sido capturado por el Imperio Otomano. Después de Siete Mazmorras, te llevaremos por las antiguas murallas de la ciudad a la Iglesia Chora.
Lo interesante de esta iglesia es MOSAİCS e İcons, verás que la representación de mosaicos e iconos se basa en la historia del cristianismo y la dinastía y la vida de Jesucristo se representa como documentaciones. La razón por la que estos mosaicos han sido representados es que en el pasado la mayoría de las personas no tenían educación, pero a través de imágenes entienden mucho más fácil. ¡Qué manera más inteligente de demostrar! (La entrada es de alrededor de 20$)
Después de que haya terminado con la iglesia de Chora, también nuestro guía llevará al último Palacio Bizantino, el Palacio de Tekfur, donde vivió el último emperador, que también es un lugar increíble donde se puede subir a la azotea del palacio y ver toda la muralla de la ciudad. (La entrada es de alrededor de 10$)
Cisterna de Nakkaş. ¡Un punto de referencia secreto en el centro de Estambul! La ciudad de Constantinopla tenía formidables murallas fortificadas... pero en el pasado, no era suficiente tener sólo murallas. Ni Estambul ni Constantinopla tenían suficientes fuentes de agua, por lo que los enemigos asediaban la ciudad y esperaban a que se rindiera. ¡Y ahí viene el genio romano ingenierilmente soluciones al problema construyendo cisternas de agua subterráneas, debajo de la ciudad! Aydin was a great tour guide, with a clear and infectious love for his city and its history. His English was great, as was his knowledge. This tour of the walls is a little off the beaten path, but shows a fascinating side of the city. The mosaics in Chora/Kariye were magnificent.

This was a great tour. Even on an unlucky day where some entries were cancelled due to snow, I'm very happy. We got to see my main interest (the Walls), and other great items I hand't really knownabout (Chora church). The guide Aydin was knowledgeable, and always had info to share. We were able to customize a few items with extra time due to the closed locations, and I even finished my shopping for family. The hotel pickup/dropoff made it all easy, even from downtown. I'd recommend this, and might even do it again myself in better weather.
I took this tour on an unlucky day when snow closed a few places, but it was still worth it. I got the see the main attraction i was interested in (the Walls), and others that were a great surprise (Chora church). Aydin was a great and knowledgeable guide, and had information to add at all times. The city transfers made this easy to do, even from downtown. We were able to do some custom stops with the extra time from the closed locations, and I was able to finish shopping for family there. The cost was more than other tours I had seen, and I think it was worth it. I'd highly recommend this, and would do it again myself in better weather in the future.
Aydin was great! Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic on the topics. Happy to be our photographer as well and adjust to whatever was best for us. Very cool seeing the city walls and Chora church was awesome!
Outstanding tour. In the United States A series on the Ottoman Empire and there was a a length series on the sieges of Constantinople and how Great the City walls were in stopping multiple attempts to break and loot the city. This tour and our guide Aydin took us on the walls, the dudgeons the areas where prisoners were executed . Aydin explained it all , including the three walls the moat. And how the city finally fell to the Ottomans. It was amazing! Aydin was very good, knowledgeable great clear English. And I am hard of hearing. He also took care of my wife. Helping on steps and preventing stumbles. I ask him to take us to see the Blue Mosque and the Haigh Sophia. Both tours were excellent as well. What a great day! Our driver was also excellent. Very tight streets he saved us many steps and climbs up hill.
My wife’s top attraction to see in Istanbul was the Wall. It lived up to her expectations. The tour guide Aiden was wonderful. Experience and knowledge. He knows the perfect locations to show us. An added benefit is we were the only tourists at the site.

This is We had a quick 2 day stay over in Istanbul, and that Aydın and his team helped arrange some great tours so we could pack in the sites as much as we could. They were in constant communication, and our guide Aydın was fabulous and so well informed on the history of the sites we were seeing along with things on the way. They are flexible and could change course easily if we needed to during our tour visits. They also arranged all our airport transfers, and they all went beautifully! I highly recommend this tour and their services. For English speakers, Aydin is a fabulous English speaking guide with a fun personality. We loved Istanbul and can't wait to go back!! Aydın is not just a guide his a historian at the same time with different perspectives on the city walls of Istanbul!
