Tour Privado Pirámides de Teotihuacan & Basílica de Guadalupe

First time in Mexico City with my family. Since arriving at the airport, Don Miguel and his son welcomed us with such kindness and attention that they made us feel at home. We were blessed that Don Miguel and Don Roberto gave us a tour of the Basilica of Guadalupe. Don Roberto was extremely informative about the history of the Virgin of Guadalupe and explained everything very patiently. We were really fascinated with the experience and hope to come back very soon to continue learning and enjoy more tours with them.

Our guide Ricardo was absolutely fantastic! so accommodating to our family’s needs and incredibly patient with the children. He seamlessly switched between English and Spanish depending on what sparked the kids’ interest, which kept them engaged and excited throughout the day. He gave us the choice to go up the pyramid of the moon, which was a must do for us. Ricardo also took great pictures which was nice since get group family photos can be challenging. Prior to the trip I had been in communication with Miguel. He was very responsive and professional, he was our driver that day as well. The car was very comfortable, clean, and extremely convenient, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Having a private tour made all the difference, especially traveling with young children. We highly recommend this experience to families visiting Mexico City!

We booked this because of the other 5 star ratings. This tour company may still be very good, but they cancelled on us 14 hours prior to our presumed start time. I also contacted them days before to confirm pick up time and never heard anything back from them. They could have let me know then that the tour would not be running. They also never sent any confirmation when I initially made my booking. Red flags all around. Book with caution. (Bummed that I lost out on a bunch of points multipliers by booking with this company on Viator - iykyk.)

It was a great experience from start to finish. We scheduled with them the airport pickup and drop off and a whole day tour to the pyramids and the Guadalupe Basilica; they were excellent in both occasions. The communication before and during our stay was always fast and super polite. They were always on time and received us always with the biggest smile and the greatest attitude. El señor Miguel was our driver and Don Roberto our guide, both lovely people. We truly enjoyed our time with them, learned from their stories and cannot recommend them enough!

Miguel & Ricardo were great. Lots of great information was shared with us. We made one stop for a super quick overview and tasting of alcohol. Which was perfect for us because we didn’t want the tourist selling stop. They accommodated are requests. I would definitely recommend this tour and guides.

Miguel and Ricardo were excellent guides and gave us a very memorable Christmas. When we were originally looking to book an activity we saw so many of these similar guided group tours, but we are so glad we decided to go for a private VIP tour with Miguel. This offered our small group of 3 a lot more freedom and flexibility with how much time we wanted to spend at each place and more time to ask questions etc. They also helped take all our photos and videos. The van was spacious and Miguel drove very comfortably to avoid any harsh road conditions. There were also umbrellas provided because there is no shade at all when you get to the ruins. Thank you for a great experience!

Father and sons were knowledgeable about history, culture, religion, politics, music and more. Such an enjoyable day spent with them. A comfortable car ride, pace, and time spent. Highly recommend these guys.

We were fortunate to find Miguel, with Father and Son Tours, who provided an in depth tour of Teotihuacán and the Basilica. He took care of all of the details related to our tour, and was a wealth of knowledge. We travelled with our 2 teenagers, who remained fully engaged with the information that Miguel shared. We had such a positive experience that we booked Miguel for a tour of Coyoacán and Xochimilco. We will not hesitate to reach out to Miguel the next time we visit CDMX.

Miguel, his dad and Mr. Roberto were very friendly, explained many things during the tour, very attentive. We loved the tour. I recommend them.

We had the absolute best experience with Miquel and his dad and would recommend them to anyone! Miquel provided us with private tours and had so much knowledge about Mexican history! I can’t wait to go back to Mexico City again and I will for sure book Father and son tours again!
